News 5/3/2011 - Rental Program Tracking and Pricing
| Starting May 9, 2011, we have added a mail tracking feature to all Excalibur Rentals. This feature will allow customers to view their orders in transit to them, as well as back to Excalibur. Beginning June 1, 2011, all Monthly Subscription plan prices will be raised by $1.00 per month. This very minimal increase continues to keep the prices of this service below our competitors while allowing us to continue to add value to these great programs. |
News 12/10/2010 - Program Changes
With the coming New Year, we are pleased to announce a few program changes that we hope will be of benefit to all of Excalibur Entertainment, Inc's wonderful customers.
Addition of UPS Mail Innovations
Effective 12/1/2010, we have added U.P.S. Mail Innovations to our mailing program.
Through Mail Innovations, U.P.S. has partnered with the U.S. Postal Service to provide pick-up, processing, and initial transportation of packages to the U.S. Post Office delivery destination unit near you.
The Post Office will make the final delivery of the package(s) to your doorstep.
There is no added cost for this service. Further, this new service will offer tracking of First-Class packages through the Mail Innovations website.
This service is solely for small packages only. This includes domestic packages less than 1 pound (3 to 4 DVDs and/or Blu-rays per package) and international packages less than 4 pounds (DVDs, Blu-rays, and/or small sex toys).
All domestic sex toys will continue to be shipped using the various U.P.S. or FedEx options available on our website. Domestic shipments of sex toys do not qualify for the Mail Innovations service at this time.
To have your qualifying package shipped using the Mail Innovations service, simply select U.S.P.S. First-Class shipping when placing your order on our shopping cart.
When the order is received by Excalibur's shipping department, the qualifying First-Class order is processed using the Mail Innovations shipping method. A Shipping Confirmation email will then be forwarded to you when the order is shipped.
Once you receive the Delivery Confirmation email, you may access your online account to access your tracking information.
An Easier Way to Rent Your Favorite DVDs and Blu-rays
Beginning 1/01/2011, Excalibur Entertainment, Inc (ExcaliburFilms.com) will provide customers with an improved one-stop resource for all of your mail order adult movie rental needs.
Consolidating Our 4-Way Rental Program:
With the goal of significantly improving your mail order adult movie renting experience, we will consolidate the current 4-way adult movie rental program into 2 separate programs… a new "Excalibur Rentals" adult movie rental website for all mail order movie rentals and Excalibur-VOD.com for your video on demand pleasure. Excalibur Rentals will be accessible using the ExcaliburFilms.com website.
One Resource Saves Time:
The current Hit-Movies.com, DVDRentz.com, and Movie-Exchange.com programs will be reorganized under Excalibur Rentals. Rather than having to review multiple websites for your mail order rental needs, every movie rental page will now feature the option of paying per each individual rental (A La Carte) or adding the title to a monthly rental membership queue, whichever you prefer.
In addition, with many companies discontinuing reproduction of select series titles and many of your movie favorites released before 2007, we understand that the demand for our inventory of DVD rentals will continue to be even greater.
Flexible Payment Options:
We will continue to offer an option for you to rent either by paying for a monthly rental subscription plan or paying per each individual rental order (A La Carte). DVDs rented A La Carte will remain at our low price of $2.95 per order plus applicable shipping and handling fees. DVDs rented through our subscription service will continue to be free of shipping charges.
Improved Turnaround Time:
Consolidating our rental services and libraries will enable us to leverage our buying power to fulfill your rental orders even faster while making all rental titles available for a la carte or subscription rental.
New Tracking Feature:
In addition to this consolidation, as an added improvement, all of the Excalibur Rentals rental orders will soon use a unique two-way tracking identification number in early 2011 with every rental order.
Whether in transit to you or as a return back to Excalibur, we will now be able to view your returns in the mail stream and avoid unnecessary delivery insurance expenses.
Rental Queues Will Not Be Deleted:
We understand that customers go to great lengths to place their favorite movie titles in their DVD Rentz, Hit Movies, and Movie Exchange rental queues. These queues will not be deleted. Movie Exchange customers will not be able to add new titles to their Movie Exchange rental queue after 12/31/2010. At the discretion of our customers, our friendly customer service staff will convert your Movie Exchange rental queue to either an A La Carte or monthly subscription rental queue. After 12/31/2010, your existing Exchange queues will be available through your online account only.
Movie-Exchange.com Customers:
In addition to the many benefits of this rental consolidation that have been provided above, these changes will also enable existing Movie Exchange customers to experience the following added benefits beyond what they currently receive:
- No more upgrade fees
- No more Exchange fees
- Free First-Class shipping
- Automatic billing process. Rather than paying multiple fees, you will only be charged once a month for your rental subscription.
- You will have now have unlimited access to our complete rental library.
- You will no longer be restricted by the value of the movies that you are sending in. Movies that you would otherwise send to us may now be sent to us through our Money4Movies.com website starting 1/01/2011.
- If you wish to keep any movies that you receive under your monthly subscription plan, you may notify us and we will then charge you the discounted "Rent It… Like It?... Buy It!" 10% off our normal low-low discount movie price, rather than previously paying our full retail price for these movies. Applicable sales taxes will apply.
Our Money4Movies.com website can be accessed either by using the "Sell" link found on the bottom of our ExcaliburFilms.com Main Page or by simply entering Money4Movies.com website address in your URL address bar.
Any existing Movie Exchange rental credit balance leading up to 12/31/2010 may be applied to the new Excalibur Rentals monthly rental subscription plan fees at the request of any current Movie Exchange customer. These monthly subscription plan fees can be found on our current Hit-Movies.com rental website.
Excalibur-vod.com will continue to be your resource for on demand adult content. Just this month, we have expanded our VOD library and now offer more than 65,000 available titles.
Customers who bookmark our rental only websites will be redirected to our new rental site, Excalibur Rentals.
