With only a few hardcore appearances to her name, Porn Star Maureen Spring is a sexy and scintillating performer whose fallen into the category of overlooked and barely remembered pornstresses. That's a shame, because Maureen Spring is one sex starlet who shouldn't be missed by fans of believable, down-to-earth women whose sexuality arose naturally out of their personalities. Maureen Spring wasn't a classic beauty, but she exuded a down-home, very human appeal that made her very easy to identify with. Maureen Spring was a very good actress, a quality that was important in the 70's hardcore business, when plot mattered almost as much as heat. Maureen Spring got her start with a small part in 1978's 'Sex World,' and was soon snatched up for a starring role in 'The Legend Of Lady Blue.' She played a woman who is rescued from prostitution by an old high school flame. The closing sequence, where Maureen Spring and her beau make beautiful reunion love is a classic of 70's eroticism. Maureen Spring's best known role is probably her turn in 'Stormy.' She shines in a small part, taking on superstud John C. Holmes in the film's romantic, energetic high point. Her only other sex film is 1978's 'Boiling Point,' another film that benefits greatly from her combination of believability and sensuality. She retired in 1980, and has been relegated to sideline status due to her small handful of films. Anyone who likes down-to-earth yet incredibly passionate ladies will want to give Maureen Spring's flicks a chance.
