Playboy Playmate Laurie Carr was a blonde-haired, blue-eyed dazzler whose warm smile and killer curves graced the magazine's pages in the mid-80s. Laurie was born on December 11, 1965 in Dallas, Texas, and she grew up in the city's suburban sprawl. By the time she graduated from high school, Laurie had her sights set on Hollywood stardom. She moved out to Southern California in search of fame and fortune. Standing a statuesque 5'7" tall, and graced with some mouthwatering 34-21-33 curves, Laurie was always likely to make a splash as a model. After a handful of modeling gigs, someone suggested to her that she submit some test photos to Playboy. Laurie agreed, and was snatched up by the editors as soon as they caught a glimpse of her creamy skinned good looks. Laurie was named Miss December 1986. A rocker at heart, in her bio she named the hair band Ratt as her favorite performers. "But I know these guys!" she playfully added, confirming her status as an 80s metal babe. Laurie continued to try and break into acting, but met with limited success. Her only film role was in the 1988 slapstick comedy 'Mortuary Academy,' and that was only as gorgeous window dressing. Laurie drifted away from the Hollywood scene after a few years of attending Playboy parties and hard rock gigs. She's currently residing in the Where Are They Now? file -- a few spots above her one-time faves Ratt!
