Playboy Playmate Karin Taylor is a Jamaican-born beauty whose luscious natural curves and wide-ranging enthusiasms have made her a favorite among the magazine's readers. Karin was born in Kingston on November 28, 1971. She was a painfully shy young woman, so much so that her father had to pay one of his employees to take her to her prom! She always dreamed of an acting career and upon leaving high school she decided to pursue her dreams. Karin moved to the States and began modeling. Her mixed Jamaican/Brazilian/Chinese ancestry gave her an exotic, stunning look that instantly turned heads. Of course, Karin's mouthwatering 34-23-34 curves didn't hurt! In the mid-90s. Karin was noticed by Playboy scouts and offered a test shoot. Needless to say, it went quite well, and Karin became Miss June 1996. Karin tried to parlay her centerfold spread into an acting career, but it never quite took off. She landed small parts on episodes of 'Malcolm and Eddie' and 'Baywatch,' but it was her modeling career that really paid the bills. She traveled all over the world for photo shoots, dazzling folks worldwide with her beauty in a wide variety of ads. Recently, Karin has decided to put her modeling on the back burner. She opened up a 'lifestyle boutique' in Haverford, Pennsylvania called Style House. The shop sells everything from jewelry to perfume to linens, all of it personally selected by Karin. Her shop has become her main focus these days -- running a business doesn't allow you time for much else!
