The fact that Karen Lancaume did so is more a result of good luck than any conscious effort to do so, though. Karen Lancaume made her French porn debut in the mid-90s. The gals jumped at the chance to make a mark on mainstream French cinema. Despentes' film ended up being more controversial than they expected. Titled 'Baise Moi' -- 'Rape Me' in English -- the film starred Karen Lancaume and Raffaela as embittered prostitutes who embark on a violent rampage. The heady combination of extreme violence and extreme sexuality shocked audiences worldwide. It also turned Karen Lancaume into a French celebrity. She became the country's most famous -- if not infamous -- porn starlet almost literally overnight. Karen Lancaume has since backed away from her hardcore career, preferring to ride out her success in less raunchy fashion. Her catalog of features is still available, though, and any one of her appearances is sure to stir the passions of fans of exotic eroticists with breathtaking natural curves.
On January 28, 2005 Karen Lancaume overdosed on narcotics resulting in her death.
