Playboy Playmate Gillian Bonner arrived in the magazine's pages in a totally unique fashion. Rather than trying to use the magazine to promote or launch an acting or modeling career, Gillian's centerfold was an attempt to spread the word about her own software company! She definitely qualifies as among the brainiest and most business-oriented Playmates of all.
Gillian was born on February 3, 1966 in Athens, Georgia. She graduated with honors from Atlanta's Northside High School in 1984. After college, Gillian decided to pursue her love of computers by forming her own software company, Black Dragon Productions, in 1992. And even though she was a computer guru, Gillian never forgot that she was a luscious babe, as well. In fact, the idea behind her software company was to produce games that combined eroticism with action.
In order to help promote her company, Gillian decided to try and get into Playboy. With some astounding 34C-24-33 curves packed onto her 5'6" frame, she didn't have to do much convincing. Gillian became Miss April 1996, wowing readers with her heady combination of beauty and brains.
Gillian's first video game, 'Riana Rogue,' was released in 1997. Gillian served as everything from art director to package designer to environment creator to star of the game, an erotic adventure that let gamers guide her through a variety of sexy situations. Alas, the game lost support from their distributor Eidos Interactive just as it was being released, so it never got the ad and marketing support it needed. The game tanked.
Gillian continues to plug away, though, and remains convinced that her unique vision will eventually see her through. She has recently branched out into Internet journalism, doing interviews for a couple of web sites. Rest assured, Gillian will make it big one way or another.
