Porn Star Debi Diamond is a living legend of hardcore. Debi Diamond was a lean blonde sex machine who single-handedly established a standard for sexual voraciousness that has yet to be matched by her successors. Debi Diamond was the most full-throttle, hard-charging starlet in adult film history -- an insatiable lust bunny who simply would not stop until both she and her partner were utterly drained. Her frenzied performances were usually the volcanic highlight of any film in which she appeared.

Born on May 1, 1965, in Southern California's San Fernando Valley, Debi Diamond lived a typical upper middle class lifestyle as she was growing up. She graduated from Granada Hills' Monroe High School, and at the age of nineteen she made the trip over the hills to try her luck in Hollywood. Debi Diamond got a job working as the personal assistant to legendary film producer Robert Evans (of 'Chinatown' fame). Evans, in turn, introduced Debi Diamond to some of his big-name contacts, including famous glamour photographer Helmut Newton. Debi Diamond became one of Newton's favorite subjects for a time, and any of his books from the late 70s and early 80s is likely to feature photos of her.

In the early 80s, Debi Diamond tried to break into mainstream Hollywood, but with little success. As she remembers it, she ended up having sex with producers in order to get jobs -- then wouldn't get the jobs anyway. Talk about getting screwed out of work! Debi Diamond decided that if she was going to be having sex for roles, she might as well get paid for it, so she opted to try her luck at porn. She was instantly recognized as a nasty natural.

Debi Diamond started working in hardcore under the name Debi Diamond. Then, she sported a softer, less sculpted body. After winning over fans with scorching turns in flicks like 'Bad Girls 2' and 'All American Girls In Heat,' Debi Diamond left the scene for a short time. She came back in the late 80s, almost 40 pounds lighter and with a newly driven attitude towards her on-screen antics. Debi Diamond clearly loved her work, and she was ready and willing to engage in anything and everything it took to get everyone on the set off. Debi Diamond had a nymphomaniac's hunger for sex at its hottest and wettest, and fans and critics alike took notice.

Debi Diamond won virtually every award in the biz, including numerous 1993 Performer of the Year awards, the 1995 Fans of X-Rated Entertainment Favorite Female Award, and she's a member of the XRCO Performers' Hall of Fame. One of Debi Diamond's fortes was the group thing, and her peep show group grope in John Stagliano's 'Gang Bangs 2' is considered perhaps the greatest group scene in adult history.

Debi Diamond eventually left the porn scene in the late 90s. Pressure from friends and family helped her to make the decision, although an inheritance from her recently deceased mother insured that she wouldn't have to work in hardcore again. Debi Diamond moved around a bit, eventually settling down with her new husband in suburban Chicago.

Debi Diamond appeared in almost 500 features during her lengthy career, and any flick she's in is guaranteed to have at least one sex scene that absolutely sizzles. An all-time porn legend, Debi Diamond deserves to go on any list of the most sex-crazed starlets in hardcore history.
