Carrie Stevens Playboy Playmate
Playboy Playmate Carrie Stevens is a luscious brunette beauty whose amazing good looks and vivacious personality made her one of the most popular Playmates of the 90s. Carrie has parlayed her centerfold stint into a quite successful acting and modeling career, and has appeared in a string of low budget b-movies that make the most of her breathtaking beauty.
Carrie Stevens was born in Buffalo, New York on May 1, 1969. She moved with her mother to Massachusetts when she was a child, but decided to move closer to her father upon graduating from high school. Dad was working in Memphis, Tennessee, so Carrie enrolled at Memphis State University as a broadcast journalism major. She found Memphis and her college lifestyle to be too conservative and constraining for her, though. Carrie wanted to dress and write as she wanted, not to have to conform to the standards of the Southern city.
It was while still living in Memphis that Carrie met KISS drummer Eric Carr. The two began a whirlwind relationship which ended up convincing Carrie to move out to Southern California. Lured by the heavy metal music scene that was thriving at the time, Carrie packed up and moved to Los Angeles, where she continued her relationship with Eric while pursuing acting and modeling gigs.
Almost from the moment she hit L.A., Carrie got noticed. She was working the desk at a Ramada Inn when a producer approached her and offered her a small part in the NBC TV movie 'Class Cruise.' The part called for her to do little more than just stand around on deck wearing a bikini, but Carrie was on her way.
Carrie continued to land small acting parts, including roles on 'Beverly Hills 90210' and the sexy straight-to-video flick 'Point of Seduction: Body Chemistry II.' Sadly, her relationship with Carr ended when the drummer died of cancer while still in his 30s. In response, Carrie established CarrieCares, a support group for people who've lost loved ones.
Carrie became the Playmate of the Month for June 1997, and has since enjoyed even more success on screen. She has starred in such b-movie fare as 'Cruel Game,' 'Redemption' and 'Vegas, City of Dreams,' where she was cast opposite former Duran Duran bassist John Taylor. Her most notable role so far has been in the Mark Wahlberg heavy metal opus 'Rock Star,' where Carrie called on her life in the rock scene in her role as one of the band member's wives.
Carrie has also appeared in several rock videos, including clips for Limp Bizkit and Third Eye Blind. She continues to work as an actress and model, while keeping active with CarrieCares. She's a stunningly beautiful and talented young woman who's got a lot more going for her than just a pretty face.
