Miles Long Porn Star

Miles Long entered the adult film industry in 1999. Between 1999 and 2005, he worked primarily as an actor. Starting in 2003 he moved behind the camera and began working as a director, producer, assistant director, cinematographer, cameraman and still photographer. He started his career behind the camera working for Jill Kelly Productions and Ninn Worx. His later work for New Sensations, Third Degree Films and Zero Tolerance Entertainment has garnered numerous accolades, 27 AVN Award nominations, a Empire Award nomination, a X BIZ Award nomination for 'Director of the Year - Body of Work' and 3 AVN Awards: a 2009 AVN Award for Third Degree Films' 'The Cougar Club', a 2010 AVN award for New Sensations' 'Addicted' and his 2011 induction into the AVN Hall of Fame.

Long's first scene was for 'Northern Sights' with his ex-wife, Shay Sights. He also worked with Jenna Haze in her first major adult film release: Joey Silvera's 'Service Animals 4'. Other memorable performances include 'Lost Angels: Michelle Michaels' with Shayla LaVeaux and Michelle Michaels; 'Acid Dreamz' with Nikita Denise in a DP with Long and Manuel Ferrara and finally a pre-nominated AVN Award performance for "Best Sex Scene" with Nikita Denise in 'Lost Angels: Nikita Denise'.

Long moved behind the camera in 2003, starting as a assistant director for Jill Kelly Productions. He then began working as a cameraman and director of photography for Michael Ninn. In 2005 he became the head of production for X-Worx. His first release 'Muff' garnered an AVN Award nomination for 'Best All-Girl Series' in 2006. In 2006 he also began working as a director for New Sensations where he received AVN Award nominations for 'Best Director' and 'Best All Sex Film' in 2007 for 'Addicted Again' and additional AVN Award nominations for 'Best All Sex Release' for 'The Ties That Bind' and 'Best High End All Sex Release' and 'Best High Definition Release' for 'Addicted Forever' in 2008. Starting in 2008 he began directing for Third Degree Films and Zero Tolerance Entertainment where he received additional AVN nominations in 2009 for 'Best Gonzo Release' for 'Big Loves 4', 'Best Gonzo Series' for 'Big Loves', 'Best Foot Fetish Release' for 'Nylons 4' and 'Best Foot Fetish Series' for 'Nylons'. He continued to garner AVN award nominations in 2010 including: 'Best Vignette Series' for 'Addicted', 'Best High End All Sex Release' for 'Addicted 6', 'Best Foot/Leg Fetish Release' for 'Nylons 5' and 'Best MILF Release' for 'The Cougar Club 2'. In 2011 he received additional AVN nominations including: 'Best Specialty Series' for 'Nylons', 'Best Foot Fetish/Leg Release' for 'Nylons 7', and 'Best Older Woman/Younger Girl Release' for 'Kittens and their MILF'. He would win his first AVN Award for 'Best MILF Release' in 2009 for 'The Cougar Club', in the inaugural year of this particular award category and the first of his titles to hit 1 on the sales charts. He won an additional AVN Award for 'Best All-Sex Series' in 2010 for 'Addicted'. In 2011 he was recognized by his peers for his standard of excellence and achievements within the adult industry and was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame as well as being nominated for a XBIZ Award by XBIZ Magazine for 'Director of the Year - Body of Work'.

Long has also made a point to branch out into Mainstream TV and Film as a Videographer, as well as Mainstream and Men's magazines as a Photographer. He is the industry's only Steadycam owner/operator and has shot a wide variety of subject matter including: SWAT team competitions, Mixed Martial Arts events, music videos, motorcycle stunts and television shows. In addition, he has had layouts and photos appear in numerous magazines including: MAXIM, AVN, Club, Club International, Hawk, Cheri and Spicy Latinas, demonstrating that his abilities as a Cameraman, DP, Photographer, Director, and Producer aren't limited to filming lovemaking.
