| The last minute get together at Pink-E's flopped badly. Chalk that one up to poor planning on my part. Only Diablo and I showed up and somehow we missed each other all night. I did get a nice bacon cheeseburger and got to sample a number of the flavors from their daiquiri bar. Also met four very lovely young ladies in town from New York. Those of you who didn't go missed out. They were looking for a guy to show them a good time.
The RAME dinner was a ton of fun. I arrived late because for some reason, I was under the impression I left the show at 5:00 instead of 6:00. By the time our whole group gathered and we headed over it was closer to 7:15. My apologies.
I came over with Mrs. Rog, Biokeeper and his wife, Jen and Dee from Texas, my pal Ed from West LA and Lysa from Astral. (How many other guys can say they came in with four lovely ladies?) I was a little surprised to see how Bill Margold had a sign-in sheet since it wasn't too long ago he dismissed all of us as net-geeks and insignificant. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
Rather than run the risk of leaving someone out, I will say that it was great to meet everyone. The turn out was fantastic. I did finally get to meet Luke face to face. Seeing Luc Wylder, Alexandra Silk, Serenity and Linda Thoren there didn't suck too much either. All of them were wonderful, very personable and of course, they added a great deal of charisma to our motley crew. (Linda by the way, is so beautiful in person, it's amazing.)
Now, the service at that restaurant was less than thrilling. It was like they were totally unprepared for us and we weren't really that tough you know? I sat with my group at a table off to the side which was a little disappointing since I couldn't talk to any of the others. We were not the latest arrivals, however. Mike South came in a little after we did, with very cool T-shirts for us.
After the Luc/Serenity table waited twenty minutes for their drinks and couldn't even get water glasses, they decided to get on out of there. Their table didn't stay empty for long though, as Brandy Alexandre and Jimmy Mac made their entrance about that time. Two more people I have talked to quite a bit, but never met.
We all sort of held our breath as Brandy and Luke met, but alas, the restaurant did not turn into a WWF match. Though the service never did get any better, the event was a success because it was the first such get together. My hats off and a million thanks to Woz for pulling it off. Thanks also to Brandy and Jimmy for the round of drinks.
The most notable no-shows were Eden Rae, Bianca Trump (Who apparently had screwed up the end time of the show even worse than I did) the gang from PST and of course Torris. Also not attending were the Extreme team, who sent their best wishes. Oh yeah, and was it my imagination or did one of the ladies at my table have some serious puppy dog eyes for a certain so and so at the main table?
On the floor, I got to meet a bunch of people I had only emailed in the past. Stars like Alanna, Heaven Leigh, Dee, Bianca Trump, Serenity and others who I have spoken to in cyber-land were on hand to make proper introductions. Also a number of company execs like Lysa from Astral, Howard from Elegant, April from Seymore Butts, Adella from Zane, Joy from Wicked and a number of others. Like last year, the majority seem to think I am younger than I am supposed to be.
I was amazed that the Evil Angel booth didn't have any really big names this year. Shane Tyler did look incredible as always. Now, if we can just get to make more movies this year.
The VCA booth was huge as always and had some long lines. I only stood in one, and that was for Chloe.
I think I would walk from Los Angeles to Vegas to talk to her. Attention Greg Steel, she wants the lead in that script, now get off your ass and make it.
Xplor Media actually had Katie Gold signing two of the days. My God, she is cute. It looks like Cherrys 2 from Xplor will have the Alyssa Haven scene I shot in it and Alyssa on the box cover.
The Extreme Booth had tons of women in it. Three of them have already been subjects of interviews, so I got re-aquainted with Jessica Darlin, Jasmin and Tiffany Mynx. Rob Black was quick to take issue with something from my last column. Hey, at least he reads it. Tom Byron has gone back to the blonde hair and looks like he's in great shape. He is also the coolest man in all of porn.
Speaking of being in shape, Van Damage has slimmed down and caught the eye of a certain Mrs. Rog. I got to meet Monique who is incredible looking in person. Also met Lizzy Borden who was very nice and Iroc who is still pissed at me. (She interrupted my interview with Tiffany Mynx to find out why I don't like her. A misconception on her part.) She is much shorter than I would have guessed and quite good looking.
The Vivid booth was a mess as always. People standing line for hours to get their big posters signed. I did say hi to Jen Teal, but otherwise didn't bother. I don't know half of the new girls, and honestly don't care. Janine has chopped off her hair and it's not the most becoming look for her, but hey, she's Janine and still a knock out. I did get a chuckle from their 'Rob Who' T-shirts. Nice sense of humor.
Legend had a lot of activity thanks to the Max girls who were there. Among them, the artist formerly known as Stryc-9 gave me a great big hug. She is going now by Stric-9, but was signing as Cherry for Max. Sweetie, just go back to Cherry! We are supposed to do a follow up interview next month. (Hell, anything to sit in a room with her alone again.) Linda Thoren was at the booth as well. She is always pretty, but one of those women who are SO much prettier in person. What a hottie.
Linda, next time you're in town, let's do an interview. I also got to meet Heaven Leigh and she was wonderful, a genuinely sweet person (with a totally hot ass.) An interview has been scheduled.
Though the Wicked booth was a buzz with activity, I did manage to finally meet Serenity, who is just painfully beautiful in person. Thanks to her husband for introducing me around. I got to meet Joy and even the big boss himself. Very cool. Stephanie Swift was also on hand, looking lovely as usual.
I didn't get to talk to Jenna because the crowds were just too huge, though I honestly don't see why. It's going to be a long climb for her to catch up to the people in her own company for top billing.
Private had a very cool booth, but it was such a strange layout that I actually walked up to Silvia Saint who had no one in line for an autograph.
Very cool, but talk about criminal! Silvia is amazing in person, a total beauty.
Astral Ocean was a fun booth. I finally got to meet Lysa, who I have been emailing since she was with Sin City. I thought she was feeding me to the sharks when she brought me right to Toshi Gold.
Since I gave his movie the only zero in Rog Reviews history, I figured I was about to get an earful, but Toshi was quite gracious. "So you're the guy who didn't like what I sunk all my company's money into?" was his greeting. Lysa did spare me a face to face with Jill Kelly. I think my contention that she was born a man would have made for a unpleasant meeting. Oh and Lysa, now that I've met you, you're too pretty and incredible for that dork. Cut him lose, he's not worthy.
Zane had a very busy booth, with full DJ set up and some totally hot women. I got re-aquainted with Shayla LaVeaux who I haven't seen since her Starbangers video. Also had the pleasure of meeting Temptress who is just so God Damn hot it's amazing. I did finally get to meet Adella and I must say it was a pleasure. Oh, and when did Matt Zane become Ziggy Stardust?
Elegant Angel had the purple Harley at the center of their booth, providing the girls a great prop for photo shoots. I had the pleasure of meeting director Dale Jordan who was kind enough to invite me to one of his sets. Special thanks to Howard for setting up interviews at the show with Amber Michaels, Xtacee and Cheynne Silver (Wildcat.) Look for those coming soon.
Kim Chambers was there, and as promised on her web site, anyone mentioning her birthday got a special tittie flash. What incredible breasts this woman has.
Other interviews were conducted with Melanie Stone, Bianca Trump and Serenity, so be looking for lots of sit downs with your favorite stars coming up.
I spent tons of time at the Seymore Butts booth. Alisha Klass was in rare form, entertaining everyone with her charm and beauty. That girl is just too much fun. Of course, I was there to see my number one girl, Samantha Stylle. Since CES, I have heard from a number of people just how wonderful Sammy is in person, but remember, I've been saying that for nearly a year. She looked great and has a personality to die for.
I think I shot two full rolls of just her and every shot was great. We tried to set up a dinner with our SO's (Hi Mitch) but schedules did not allow it. She's just too busy for little old me. Congratulations to Alisha and Seymore for all the awards they came home with, and be sure to watch for the newest Tushy Girl, Audra Bliss, what a hottie.
By far, the most interesting conversation took place with Inari Vachs. For some reason she started talking about men taking things anally. It took a rather strange turn.
Inari: "Just because a guy takes things in the ass doesn't make him gay."
Rog: "Unless it's another man's dick."
Inari: "No, not even then. If you wake up on Sunday and want to cuddle with a guy, that makes you gay, not getting fucked in the ass."
You know, I don't care if a guy takes things in the ass, no matter what they are. Gay has never been an issue for me, but I have to think that getting boned in the butt is a little higher on the gay scale than a little cuddling, but hey, that's just me.
Sunday I got to bring new girl Alyssa Haven by to meet and greet. She is incredibly cute it's not even funny. Word is she will be working with Brittany O'Connell Productions for a while, but she had plenty of people ready to work with her.
Almost done, just a few random notes from my score pad.
- Where the Hell was Greg Steel?
- Biggest bitches: Taylor Hayes, Jenna Jameson and Asia Carrera. (How ironic is that after all the shit I've taken for defending her.)
- How cool was it to meet Nic Cramer.
- Overheard from one pornstar: "So when are you and Mrs. Rog going to take to bed?" (Answer, as soon as I can convince her Stry...oppps never mind.)
- Said Samantha Stylle: "Roger, you have a beautiful and wonderful wife and I want to eat her pussy." (Be my guest Sammy, just so long as I get to watch.)
- For the second time in four years, I got to give Tiffany Mynx a ride back to her hotel. Wouldn't an autographed 8x10 be a nice way to say thank you.
(OK, she was very gracious, I'm just pimping.)
- Prettier in person than they look on camera: Stephanie Swift, Linda Thoren, Inari Vachs, Iroc and Alexandra Nice. While good looking in films, these women are knock outs in person.
-Is Mike South the most comfortable mother fucker on the planet? He just seems to be right at home no matter he is.
-Nice to meet Vlad, but 2:30 AM? Freaking vampires.
- Could Tom Byron be any more gracious or cool? Me thinks not.
-Could Tina Tyler be any hotter? And if she were would I be able to keep from mauling her?
- Where were Leanni Lei and Alex Dane?
-Did anyone else notice that Stric-9 wasn't wearing any panties on Saturday?
-Did I mention yet what a bitch Asia was?
- Was that Alicia Rio I saw running around with Alicia Rio stickers on her back?
-Can someone tell me how Jenna can possibly be younger than Serenity?
-Am I the only one still mourning the loss (to porn) of Kaitlyn Ashley?
Well, that's about it. Time to make reservations for next year's CES.
