Paul Thomas A woman goes to her country home, she's an artist who's lot her muse and wants to find it again. There are these strange things going on in her house, interlopers and such, and through her experiences, she finds her muse, and then discovers it was all part of her imaginings all along…
Vivid Team You've produced some of the best adult films in history, how do you feel The Villa stacks up against some of your best work, like that "Masseuse" and "Fade to Black?"
Paul Thomas It's in a different category, this is more like an independent film production, a more personal type of work.
Vivid Team You've worked with Janine from the beginning of her career, what changes have you notices in her as a performer?
Paul Thomas She's gotten to be a much better actress, much less scattered and more focused as a person and as an actor. I think she's learned to parcel out her sexual energy a little more… it's not endless.
Vivid Team Is there anything else that's special about "the Villa" that we should know about?
Paul Thomas It works, it's very good. I can't say enough times how difficult it is to construct a sex film that has a beginning, middle and an end, with sexual energy and that's satisfying on all levels. I've been doing this a long time, and I've become very hard to please now, and this one really works.
Vivid Team Anything you want to add?
Paul Thomas Janine's da' bomb! When you expect so much of someone and they're able to deliver beyond your expectations, no one is going to be disappointed. Her acting, her sex scenes are just fabulous.
