Roger T. Pipe So what have you been doing for two years?
Bryan Xin I have been doing a movie a month for DVSX. My last release with them will be in January. I have done eight volumes of T.N.T. (Truly Nice Tits), seven volumes of T.N.A. (Truly Nice Ass), four of A.N.A.L. (Ass Now Ass Later) and four of Total Babe.
Roger T. Pipe Four lines is quite a bit.
Bryan Xin It's not too much with one a month. It keeps them rotated.
Roger T. Pipe You said that your last release with DVSX is in January. I take that to mean that you are no longer with the company?
Bryan Xin I am a free agent now.
Roger T. Pipe Was your departure from DVSX an amicable separation?
Bryan Xin Yeah. It was just time to move on. It was better for me to leave the company now, before I started shopping around to other companies.
Roger T. Pipe By the time I get this transcribed you will probably have signed with another company and we will have to do it all over.
Bryan Xin I don't know about that. I'm going to choose very carefully.
Roger T. Pipe What are you looking to do now?
Bryan Xin Well, I'm looking around. I want to take my time, and make the right choice, but not necessarily right now. I don't want to jump into something and then change my mind a few months down the road.
Roger T. Pipe Is the one movie a month schedule something you want to keep or do you want to increase it?
Bryan Xin It all depends on where I end up and what type of movies I'm making. I could do more than one a month under the right circumstances.
Roger T. Pipe Are you looking to move over to features?
Bryan Xin No. That's not for me.
Roger T. Pipe So you're looking to stay with the all-sex/gonzo stuff.
Bryan Xin That's what I would like, yes.
Roger T. Pipe Let's talk about each of the four lines a little bit. My favorite of the four is T.N.T.
Bryan Xin That's really your favorite?
Roger T. Pipe I would say that it is my favorite consistently. There are eight volumes of that right?

Roger T. Pipe Who is in the new one?
Bryan Xin Sammie Rhodes in one of her early scenes. I was going to put her in T.N.T. 7, but I decided to make that one more for the bigger girls. Sammie fits more into the cast of the eighth volume.

Bryan Xin Not always, but big is a requirement. They also have to have a good shape. I avoid big flabby ones. If the girl has a great rack and maybe isn't as pretty in the face, I still want to put her in the movie. I watch a lot of big tit videos and a lot of times I don't even notice the girls' faces. Roger T. Pipe She could be in T.N.T. or T.N.A. as well.
Bryan Xin Yeah, she was in T.N.T. 3.
Roger T. Pipe Teagan was in Total Babe as I recall.
Bryan Xin In the last volume yes. She looked great. I was very happy with the photo set we got of her. She told me herself that those were the best pictures ever taken of her.
Roger T. Pipe Anyone can go to my site and see the weekly photo shoots Bryan sends over as eye candy. So who have been your favorite girls to shoot?
Bryan Xin That is a tough one. There are girls who are easy to shoot where people don't appreciate the scene as much, but there are girls who have been difficult, but the results have been good. I guess it depends on how you look at it. There have been a few instances where the girls were easy to work with and the scenes came out great. None stand out as favorites though.
Roger T. Pipe OK, we can move on. The AVN nominations just came out. How many did you get?
Bryan Xin Ummm, somewhere between one and zero.
Roger T. Pipe What a rude question for me to ask. What was the one nom for?
Bryan Xin It was for a scene in A.N.A.L. 3, Best Anal Sex Scene.
Roger T. Pipe Do you think you're going to go home with a statue?
Bryan Xin Not really.
Roger T. Pipe Is that something you even care about?
Bryan Xin I had more nominations last year, but I didn't even go to the show. I would rather see the movies appreciated by the fans and see them sell well.
Roger T. Pipe Speaking of fans, do you have any?
Bryan Xin (He laughs) I have between one and zero.
Roger T. Pipe Which line do you get the most fan feedback from?
Bryan Xin Probably T.N.T. I think that genre has a really hardcore fan base. I see the series mentioned in the big tit forums. You show those guys a pair of tits and they can ID them right away. They know all the tit movies and follow closely. I think I get the most mail from that.
Roger T. Pipe Scenes with big tits are tricky. Most of them are either regular scenes that just happen to feature a girl with big tits or they are so completely focused on the breasts that they end up looking like a fetish scene. Yours do enough breast footage to keep things title-specific, but you don't lose the mainstream appeal either.
Bryan Xin That has always been hard to balance, and I think it always will be. A lot of times when I am shooting, I lean one way or the other. Sometimes a scene will end up more fetishy, and sometimes it ends up being a regular sex scene with some tit tease. I personally would rather shoot big tit scenes that are geared towards the big tit fetish. There are a lot of supposed big tit lines out there, but what they are is just gonzo movies with girls that have B cups. I guess they just figure that if they are natural, that is enough. But I don't think they really get it. That type of thing doesn't cut it for the core audience. The core audience wants to see girls that have large, natural tits. For instance, I myself am a fan of a lot of the Score videos and a lot of the Score/Voluptuous girls.
Roger T. Pipe Those really focus on the breast play.
Bryan Xin They don't get many nominations either, but the fans love them.
Roger T. Pipe I just saw the Complete Linsey Dawn McKenzie DVD set from Score.
Bryan Xin I have that set.
Roger T. Pipe Is she a girl you would like to shoot for T.N.T.?
Bryan Xin I tried actually.
Roger T. Pipe How did that go?
Bryan Xin I knew a guy who knew her, but she is exclusive with Score so I don't think it's going to happen.
Roger T. Pipe Damn.
Bryan Xin I always thought that if I could shoot her I could really do her justice.
Roger T. Pipe Would it be safe to say that she would be at the top of your wish list for T.N.T.?
Bryan Xin She and Danni Ashe would be at the top of my list for that.
Roger T. Pipe What about for T.N.A.?
Bryan Xin I tried to shoot Ryan Conner once. When I was doing boxes, I wasn't that big of an ass man. I was working on a box with pictures of her that showed off her glorious behind. That was around the time I really started thinking about ass. And I kept thinking about it. In fact, I can't seem to stop. Help me.
Roger T. Pipe So seeing Ryan Conner's ass was like smoking crack. One time and you were hooked.
Bryan Xin Yeah, exactly. But I couldn't shoot her, because she became condom only.
Roger T. Pipe Do you get a lot of feedback on condom scenes?
Bryan Xin Yeah, a lot of negative feedback, though I have only done two or three.
Roger T. Pipe How did the most recent HIV outbreak affect your shooting schedule?
Bryan Xin I was in Europe right about the time it happened. I had shot a lot of stuff and had a lot on the shelf. Because of that, I was able to abide by the quarantine.
Roger T. Pipe You have shot in Europe quite a few times. What do you think is the biggest difference between American and European talent?
Bryan Xin The biggest difference is the language barrier and cultural differences. For a while there, I was shooting a lot of the new girls in the business, and they don't always understand the kinks that I want. Can you believe some of them hadn't ever seen porn? They kind of gave me funny looks when I wanted them to play with their tits or their ass. Imagine trying to direct someone in a scene who has no concept of what a sex scene even consists of.
Roger T. Pipe At DVSX you followed their six-scene, 120 minute format. Since you shoot a lot of tease that leaves you less time for the sex.
Bryan Xin With the strict format that they had, I feel like it made my movies suffer in all aspects. Budgetwise, the more scenes in a movie, the less I was able to spend on a scene. Also as far as the footage is concerned, having to always shoot 6 scenes, and having to fit everything into 120 minutes means something was always sacrificed, whether it's tease, blowjob, or sex.
Roger T. Pipe Timewise, you have to find the balance.
Bryan Xin I'd like to have at least 25 minutes per scene.
Roger T. Pipe I have noticed that the blowjobs in everyone's movies are getting shorter. And here I was wondering, what do companies and porn directors have against blowjobs. Is it because there are so many blowjob lines out there that people figure no one wants to see them in regular scenes?
Bryan Xin I don't know about other companies, but as far as DVSX is concerned, I think that with all of the other things, the anal positions and all that, the blowjob ends up getting cut first. I think there should be more time for it personally, but they had their own editor that they used and a formula they wanted him to follow.
Roger T. Pipe I have heard that you might be considering a blowjob line.
Bryan Xin We had one in the works when I left the company so that may be something I look to do in the future.
Roger T. Pipe How can you be a director, you aren't a performer. Isn't there some law that you have to be a meat slinger to direct?
Bryan Xin Well I just don't let my girlfriend know that I perform. It's a secret. Besides, I found that if I just stuck to blowjobs, that stuff always got cut out of the movies anyway. (laughs) Kidding!

Roger T. Pipe Seriously though, you have never been a performer. You did do box design for a few companies though.
Bryan Xin Yes, for Red Light, Sin City, and some smaller companies.
Roger T. Pipe And I met you when you were working for Elegant Angel years ago.
Bryan Xin Yeah. That must have been 1998.
Roger T. Pipe What were you doing at Elegant?
Bryan Xin I was designing boxes and ads. Well, sort of. I had very little creative control.
Roger T. Pipe David Luger was there as well.
Bryan Xin David was there, Dion Giarrusso was there, Dale and Corey Jordan, Alex Ladd was working there.
Roger T. Pipe You guys became the next generation of ex-Elegant directors.
Bryan Xin I guess we were. I was just thinking back to some Elegant gang bang shoots the other day. They had Lex, Brandon Iron, Mark Davis, all kinds of great guys.
Roger T. Pipe Those early Gang Bang Angels were great. Skeeter Kerkove was in one as well.
Bryan Xin I was there for that one, with Bridgette. I was shooting camera up on a ladder.
Roger T. Pipe And the one that got pulled from the shelves.
Bryan Xin The one with Miko Lee. I was there for that one as well. If you can find the box cover for that one I actually put my picture in one of the frat house windows.
Roger T. Pipe Like a Hotel California thing?
Bryan Xin Yeah.

Roger T. Pipe So how did you go from doing box covers to directing?
Bryan Xin I had opportunities to direct before, but I wanted to produce and direct. I didn't have much creative control when I was doing graphics and I had absolutely no desire to be stuck in the same situation in a different field. I knew Alex and he told me about starting up his own company. I asked him if I could shoot something and he said okay.
Roger T. Pipe What was your first movie?
Bryan Xin Truly Nice Tits.
Roger T. Pipe Looking back objectively how do you think it compares to what you're doing now?
Bryan Xin I think it was a really good movie. It was easier back then. There wasn't anyone we couldn't shoot. We hadn't already shot any of the big tit girls so casting was easier. Finding the right girls for that series is hard. I could shoot the same girls over and over, but that wouldn't go over well.
Roger T. Pipe Is there any girl you would never shoot again under any circumstances?
Bryan Xin Do you want a top ten?
Roger T. Pipe Sure.
Bryan Xin Well, there's...come on, you aren't getting that out of me. There are a few girls, but I am not going to name names. I am sure everyone has people that they just don't work well with.
Roger T. Pipe Do you have much time to watch other people's work?
Bryan Xin I've always watched a lot of porn and I'm always keeping an eye open for what's new. I also revisit a lot of work from the past as well. I've worked around people who haven't the slightest clue about what else is going on in the business, and that ignorance keeps them down. Most of the successful people know what's going on out there.
Roger T. Pipe Is there anyone that you think is doing really good stuff?
Bryan Xin There are the obvious guys of course, but have you seen Nacho's Ass Obsession? I thought that was really good. I liked the tease. It was underrated.
Roger T. Pipe Have you seen his tranny stuff?
Bryan Xin Yeah. I think it's great that he is just doing stuff that people think is taboo. Like he doesn't give a fuck what people might say. I heard he was going to do an all-male title and that is even better. That takes a lot of balls. No pun intended.

Roger T. Pipe You do your own still photography now. Your still shots are very good. Have you been at it a long time?
Bryan Xin I have been doing it for a while- about a year and a half. I think I have an advantage from all of my graphic design experience. I know what looks good on a box and what doesn't. I have worked with enough bad stuff that I know what mistakes to avoid.
Roger T. Pipe Let's say you landed with a new company that gave you total freedom to shoot any six girls in the business. Contracts don't count, you have totally free reign over casting. Who would you shoot?
Bryan Xin Wow. A pure vanity project. I would shoot Danni Ashe, Linsey Dawn McKenzie.
Roger T. Pipe Wouldn't that be six? Danni, Linsey and their boobs?
Bryan Xin Yeah, that's a full cast by any measure. Most of my favorite girls are from the past.
Roger T. Pipe What if you could bring back some girls?
Bryan Xin That's easier. Seka, Christy Canyon, Lisa DeLeeuw. Almost all the girls in Russ Meyers' movies.

I was bummed to see people doing cameltoe movies because I wanted to do that a long time ago. I was turned down on that idea when DVSX was just getting started and instead I did the Total Babe series. Oh well.
Roger T. Pipe What about the stuff people are doing with the double anal and that stuff?
Bryan Xin That doesn't really interest me. It doesn't do much for me and I would rather stick to what I like.
Roger T. Pipe I know you like Asian cinema, what about their porn?

Bryan Xin I have always heard that it is really expensive over there and that the agents charge outrageous fees, that its just not worth it. At least that is what I've heard.
