Roger T. Pipe Did you grow up there?
Alana Evans No. I came from a military family. One of my parents was stationed there. I was born, then three months later we came back to California.
Roger T. Pipe So you grew up in California?
Alana Evans All my life. I’m a Northern California girl.

Alana Evans About a year and a half.
Roger T. Pipe What were you doing when you started?
Alana Evans I was dancing, but only in bikinis. I wasn’t even dancing nude. I love to dance, and wanted to be a feature dancer. I was never the kind of dancer who would hustle the guys, I danced because I loved it and it was so much fun. I made good money, but I just loved dancing. We found Reb and talked to him, and I had to make a decision. Do I want to do movies or do I want to do magazines? I knew I had to do one or the other in order to feature. We thought about it and decided ‘fuck it’ let’s just do the movies. We have a pretty open sexual relationship, so that worked out.
Roger T. Pipe So you were already married?
Alana Evans Yes. We’ve been married for five years now.

Roger T. Pipe So you made the decision to do movies, is that when you came to LA?
Alana Evans Yeah, we had lived here for a like a year before, but liked the sleepy little town up north. So, we moved back and I come down to do movies.

Alana Evans That scene was with Mr. Marcus.
Roger T. Pipe How was it?
Alana Evans My experience during the taping was really cool. Before we got rolling, I was a little uncomfortable, the director is kind of creepy. And I’ve told him that, so don’t think I’m talking behind anyone’s back. My first time taught me right off the bat what can happen if you’re naïve in this business. I established right off the bat what I am comfortable with and what I’m not. Marcus was great, our scene was great, it had nothing at all to do with him. It was the director himself.
Roger T. Pipe Were you nervous?
Alana Evans I was excited more than anything, so it was a nervous excitement.
Roger T. Pipe Did you know Marcus or had you seen photos of him before working with him?
Alana Evans No. Before I did this scene, I was booked a week in advanced for ‘The World’s Luckiest Black Man” with Marcus. I was talking to the producer of Real Sex Magazine and told him I was working with Marcus. He asked if I wanted to work with him for this movie and I said sure. That’s how I ended up working with him first. He’s cool, a very nice guy. So, yes before you ask, I do interracial sex scenes. (Laughs.)
Roger T. Pipe Really, you don’t have problems doing that?
Alana Evans No, not at all, well not much anyway.
Roger T. Pipe OK, you guys can’t see why we’re laughing, but Alana’s husband, who happens to be black, is sitting here with us. We’re making a little joke, but we should probably address it seriously for a bit.
Alana Evans Sure. There are people I won’t work with, white and black. I don’t care what color someone is. There are women I won’t work with as well.
Roger T. Pipe The common answer for people who won’t do scenes like that is that it hurts them on the dance circuit or keeps them from getting high profile roles in adult films. Have you found that to be the case?
Alana Evans I think that’s bull shit. I think it’s total crap. I think there are girls who don’t do interracial because of their own personal reasons, and that’s fine. No one needs to be with someone they don’t want to be with, but don’t lie about it. I am married to a black man and when I hear girls give their excuses, I know they are just that, excuses. If you were raised a certain way, then that’s how you were raised. You can’t help that. If you’ve had bad experiences, then you can’t help that, but come on. Me not working with black men because other people won’t hire me? That’s a crock of shit. Roger T. Pipe OK, we’ll hit more on that scene in a bit. Back to that first day. You’re finished with your first scene. Did you know right away that you were ready for more, or did you take some time to think about it?
Alana Evans My whole thought process was to make sure that this was going to be OK with my relationship. I love my husband more than anything and we have a very sexual relationship. I wanted to make sure before I continued on, that things were cool with us. Things were more than cool. He is totally supportive and he is not, God, I hate this term, not a suitcase pimp, whatsoever. I do my own thing, he helps me in a way that no one else could. Some people don’t understand that, but that’s their own problem. There are men out there who are not as wonderful, but luckily, I don’t have to deal with them. I am just always honest with him, so that really prevents any problems.
Roger T. Pipe Is he on sets with you?
Alana Evans Now he is on the set when it fits into his schedule. However, when I work for someone new, he comes along for the initial meeting. When I first got into the business, he and I went to meet a producer. I had called him to say that we were on our way. We were walking up the stairwell to his apartment, he comes down, sees that I’m with my husband and he freaks. He’s like “I don’t allow men in my apartment and I don’t have spectators on my sets.” I just said “Then you won’t be shooting me, see ya.” Then we just left. Later I found out that he tried to tell my agent some bull shit story that the reason he doesn’t allow men in his apartment is that some chick went up there with two guys and robbed him blind. Yeah right. This guy is well known and if something like that had happened, it would have been all over the industry. So, it was either a racial problem or he’s just a pervert and didn’t want my husband there. Either way, fuck it and fuck him.
Roger T. Pipe Have you done any scenes with your husband?
Alana Evans Yeah, we’ve done a few. He’s done a handful of scenes, mostly with me, but a few with other women. People keep asking him to work with me, but he gets me at home, you know?
Roger T. Pipe About how many movies have you been in?
Alana Evans The last time we counted, I think I was up to about seventy five.
Roger T. Pipe If you were to pick one out for someone who hasn’t seen your work, which one would you pick?
Alana Evans I would have to say, ‘Perverse Addictions 2.’ It’s me and Tony Tedeschi and we do a killer anal. I’ve worked for Bruce Seven so I know what he likes. That was the first time I had worked for him with a guy though. It was amazing, really good. It’s also one of the only movies I made when my hair was platinum.
Roger T. Pipe Who would you say is the best director you have worked with? Who really brings out the best in you?
Alana Evans I’m going to name a couple. My favorite would have to be Layne Parker, Ashlyn Gere’s husband. Number one, he has great scripts. Number two, he’s a great director and number three, he treated me so great. He was so wonderful, I loved working for him. He’s the main reason why I’m sad not to be with Extreme any more. The other person is Charley Crow.
Roger T. Pipe Since we’re on the subject, how long had you been in the business when you signed with Extreme?
Alana Evans Not even a year at that point.
Roger T. Pipe How did that happen?
Alana Evans I actually stayed away from them when I first got into the business because of all the drama they were going through with Elegant Angel at the time. I was working for Elegant and just didn’t need that headache. Glen Baren, who is a photographer for both and he introduced me to Tommy. I worked for him and he was great. They started putting me in a lot of their movies and I was happy working for them. So, I just said to Rob, ‘Hey, Rob, I want a contract.” That’s what I wanted. I wanted to be stable and have steady work. I don’t like dealing with a bunch of different people at once. I knew everybody there and got long great with them all. I told him that was what I wanted, then left it alone for a while. They were still calling me for work, but I didn’t want to bug Rob, then out of nowhere, he says to me “Where have you been? I thought you wanted a fucking contract.” Those were his exact words. So we figured out what he wanted to do, then after the contract was signed, he told me about my new name.
Roger T. Pipe How long were you with them?
Alana Evans I was with them for about four months.
Roger T. Pipe How many movies did you do?
Alana Evans While I was under contract, I did eight movies, nine scenes.
Roger T. Pipe Did you want to go any further with this part of the conversation?
Alana Evans Sure. I have to say up front that I don’t have any ill will towards anyone there. They treated me great up until the day I was gone. It was just the way that we parted business ways that was the only downfall. I was very happy there, and liked everyone.
Roger T. Pipe But they changed your name.
Alana Evans I know, I know, you didn’t like my new name. You know what? A lot of people didn’t like that name, but they didn’t tell me until I switched back. Then they tell me that it was terrible.
Roger T. Pipe See, I cared enough to be honest.
Alana Evans Rob thought it was great, and to be honest, I laughed for two days. Jenna Talia, how could you miss that name?
Roger T. Pipe You’re back to Alana now right?
Alana Evans Yes, Jenna Talia was only used for two credits actually.
Roger T. Pipe So they can find you under Alana or Alana Evans, but not Elena.

Alana Evans You know, that is exactly what we were going to change it to. Elana and I came into the business at the same time and I guess that confused people. Hello. I’m a California girl and she’s Russian. How do you confuse the two?

I just really want to be sure because it will be changing my body forever.
Roger T. Pipe Was it part of your contract that you had to get them done?
Alana Evans No, it was not. This was something Robert and I had talked about, but it was not written into my contract. That was not why they fired me.
Roger T. Pipe Was it something you feel is pressured onto performers?
Alana Evans Oh absolutely. I think a lot of the girls who haven’t gotten them yet, get into contracts where the company’s write boob jobs into the contracts. I have talked to so many of those girls who wish they hadn’t gotten them done. Some of them feel that way, I think because they had bad surgeries done. I’m afraid of that happening to me. It could happen to anyone. There are some girls who love them and are so happy they have them. It changes everything. I will still look young, but now I’ll have these, as people say ‘Bolt ons’ See, I really do read RAME, that’s where I learned that phrase.
Roger T. Pipe So now you’re no longer with Extreme. I heard you talk about doing some work for Anabolic. Including this scene with Jake and Lexington.
Alana Evans Yes I did, Jake AND Lexington. I had worked with Jake before and I was scared to work with him. It ended up being great. He was so easy to work with, it was absolutely amazing. I had told him I wouldn’t do anal, there was just no way. Then, the other person in the scene just wasn’t keeping up to speed and I didn’t want a bad scene. I was putting out all this energy, so I just said, let’s do it. Me and Jake did the anal and everyone who has seen that movies says that our A brought the intensity of the scene right back up.

Roger T. Pipe Are those the two biggest guys you’ve worked with?
Alana Evans No. I have worked with Sean Michaels many times and I’m happy to say that the man I have at home is just as big as Jake Steed. So, I get that all the time. In the business, Sean and Lex are the two longest guys I’ve worked with.

Alana Evans It’s a really small, really pretty butterfly and I did that scene the day after. I had the urge and wanted it now. I knew if I didn’t do it, I would never do it.
Roger T. Pipe Are you happy with it?
Alana Evans I love it. I won’t get any more, not because it hurt or anything, I actually liked the pain.

Roger T. Pipe Have you done other work for Anabolic?
Alana Evans I did Nasty Girls 20 with Monique DeMoan and that was cool. I really like her. She is really nice. I also did ‘Lewd Conduct’ for Vince Voyeur with Vince and Evan Stone. I had wanted to work with Vince for a long time so that was one more name to cross off my want list.
Roger T. Pipe Who is left on that list?
Alana Evans Mark Davis. It just hasn’t happened yet. There were men that I saw before I got into this business and I wanted to work with. One of the ones I most wanted was Randy West and he did a three way with my husband and I for ‘Up & Cummers 57.’ It is my favorite scene to date. I had so much fun. Alana Evans Probably Tony Tedeschi, but it’s a tough call.

Alana Evans I trust him in every sense. If I had to do a very rough scene, he is the only one I would trust to make it perfect. He is a great performer and a big guy. I’m not one of those girls who picks a wimpy guy.
Roger T. Pipe You’ve worked with a lot of big guys. Is that important to you?
Alana Evans I wouldn’t say it’s all that important. I did like the scene with Lex and Jake. It was like, ‘ha, I conquered them.’ In that sense I felt like I accomplished something for my fans.
Roger T. Pipe What about favorite women to work with. You seem to like women a little bit.

Roger T. Pipe We’ll make a few calls. You were telling me earlier that you just signed a new contract. Let’s talk a little about that. You said it’s not an exclusive, so what does it entail?
Alana Evans It’s with All Good Video. It’s a non exclusive. I am basically going to be doing a number of their series. I did ‘Submissive Little Sluts’ for them and the director is awesome. His mind is so demented that I loved it. He is excellent. I was in ‘Dirty Little Sex Brats’ for the same director.

I am proud to say that I am completely sober. I don’t do any drugs, I don’t drink when I work. Maybe I drink on the odd Saturday night. I don’t even smoke weed. I just don’t need any of that stuff. I am very happy doing what I’m doing. If I weren’t happy, then I wouldn’t do it, period. When it’s no longer fun, then I’m done.
Roger T. Pipe How far into the future are you thinking as far as your career?
Alana Evans I don’t have a time frame in mind, I want to take it as far as I possibly can. That means giving it everything I have and trying to get my own line started. My husband has a great mind and he’s a huge pervert. That’s rubbed off onto me and we have a lot of ideas of stuff that we want to do. However, we also realize that we need to be mature in this industry to make sure that we do it right. We watch movies and critique what other people are doing so we are ready to do it right.
Roger T. Pipe Are we working on a web site?
Alana Evans Yes, I finally got my domain name. It’s going to be www.alanasfanclub.com I don’t know how in the world I was able to get it, because someone was sitting on it for the longest time, but it’s mine now. We have everything ready for it and are putting it together right now. Alana Evans Yes and no. There are people in the business who are trying by having us keep our tests up and there are others who are letting it slide. On many occasions, I have been asked to work with someone who doesn’t have a current test. The answer they always get from me is absolutely not. I’m sorry, I live in Northern California. If I can take the time to drive down or fly down just to keep my test current, then these saps who live in LA and can’t do that, I’m not going to work with them. It costs two hundred dollars to fly down and I’m happy to spend that, plus the money for my test just to make sure that I am doing what I need to do to keep myself and others safe. I’m not going to put someone in a position where we’re in the middle of having sex and they are thinking about something else and not enjoying it. I do like working without condoms better, but I do think that the industry should start doing things to stop the spread of other STDs. I know AIM has a test for other things and people should take better care of themselves.

I give them a ton of information and let them check me out. The feedback is great. I had one guy write to me from RAME who was black and I told him about the scene in Up Your Ass. He thought it was so cool, I think I won a fan for life. We already talked about the interracial thing, but he just loved the idea of that scene.
Roger T. Pipe Obviously, most of the feedback on the interracial scenes has been positive. Have you had any negative response at all?
Alana Evans Never. No one has ever said a thing about it. There have been people in magazine who say things about me for whatever reasons. I won’t speculate whether or not that’s a racial thing. They say whatever they want, I don’t care. In fan letters or email, I have never had anyone attack me for doing interracial.
Roger T. Pipe Who says bad things about you in magazines? Do we even want to say?
Alana Evans Sure, they are going to say bad things about me anyway. It’s the Hustler Erotic Guide. Every time they review something about me. I don't know who it is, and I don’t mind if you don’t like what I do. Not everyone is going to like me, but this guy hits me on really personal things. One time he said ‘look at all these shaving scabs and stretch marks and scars.’ I’m sure he’s loving the fact that I’m even mentioning him. Another time, they said that I was just getting paid extra for each little thing I did. He said that for Lewd Behavior 3, the Van Damage movie, that I must have gotten paid extra to lick my toes.
Roger T. Pipe Did you?
Alana Evans No. I have very nice feet and some people like that, so I will indulge that fantasy for fans.
Roger T. Pipe Well you know that critics don’t know what they’re talking about. They’re all full of shit anyway.
Alana Evans Yeah. I just laugh. I think it’s absolutely hilarious each time they do it.
Roger T. Pipe You get plenty of fan support. I don’t know if you remember this, but you did really well on the Internet fan poll last year. You’ve already been nominated for Female Star of the Year this year.
