I am always glad to see one of John Leslie's titles come out on DVD. It means I have another title to recommend to all the DVD watches who email me looking for something great. It also means that an already excellent movie is going to be packed with a fantastic batch of extras Finally, it means that I can replace one of the big video boxes on my John Leslie shelf (In the Roger Pipe porn library.) can be replaced by a smaller DVD case. For those who haven't figured it out, Leslie's The Voyeur line is one of my favorite series of all time. He is one of the few porn directors who can do it all. There are directors who shoot great features, but fall short on the sex. There are directors show make fantastic stroke-smut but wouldn't have a clue how to shoot non-sex scenes. Still others bring a great sense of style to sexually fat movies. Leslie can do anythnig at all and more often than not, manages to bring us great looking movies with white hot sex. (And then he wants to, the great scenarios become full blown features that blow the doors off of the pathetic, limp shit that most feature companies pump out.)

Now that I've pumped this movie up to mpossible levels, we can begin. Celine Deveaux kicks things off, teasing a couple of guys in the TV room. As Leslie encourages the action, we get a chance to scope out her lovely curves and natural chest. I'm not sure what happened to this woman, but she does a nice tease before making her way to the room to make sure tha both pricks are hard and throbbing for her hot holes. With a movie playing on the big screen in the background, Celine bounces her bubble butt up and down on dick, making her own movie with her two new friends. Tricia and Nikki's three way with Davis is the other highligh. This is early Tricia and it's going to remind everyone why I was so crazy for this woman. (I told you so.) Great picture quality, outstanding extras and the well done sub-chapter menu make this great video and even greater DVD.

Starring: Tricia Deveraux, Nikki Brantz, Valentine, Blake Mitchell, Johnni Black, Celine Deavoux, Lovette, Paisley Hunter, and Carole Dubois. This is a *great* cast, featuring several of the best young pornstars of the late '90s. Tricia Deveraux remains one of my favorite porn stars. . . there's just something. . . well, I hate to use the word "natural" within two miles of the porn business, but that's the only word that fits. She turns in a nice three-way with Nikki and a lucky fellow that's my favorite scene. Valentine is another featured performer, and she is definitely something to behold. But truly, there's not a bad performance on this tape.
What did you think of the film's production values?
I'm not sure I like the Voyeur's format. The ostensible story is that of a point-of-view video-camera-equipped fellow running around and witnessing lots of sex, and occasionally getting up close and personal. So on the one hand, we have lots of good camera angles and not a lot of the old "studio" shots. On the other hand, the constant movement is almost enough to make you dizzy, and he rarely spends enough time on any one shot. It's quite frustrating. Also, Valentine's scene is a cut-and-paste of two different sex scenes - a g/g with Blake Mitchell, and a solo / oral scene where she takes on a guy in a completely different room. John Leslie, the director, cuts back and forth between the two scenes approximately once a minute. Yeah, they're both pretty hot, but it's damn disconcerting. I'd give good money for longer shots and steadier angles, myself, especially after having to sit through the "John Leslie = art" motif plainly displayed in the promos.

Now this I can't fault. This is one hot tape. First comes Celine Deavoux, doing a striptease for two lucky guys. I've always enjoyed her scenes, and this is no exception. . . she quickly turns it into a quite enjoyable three-way. It definitely makes up for the more than ten minutes of lead-in promos. She doesn't dodge the two facials, either.
Next up are Nikki Brantz and Tricia Deveraux. After a long "let's pretend to be an intruder hiding in the house" sequence, he cuts to the action. Very nice, good lead-in, lots of views of Tricia's wonderful body. These two ladies are definitely hot, although some of the shots almost end up as silhouettes against a bright window.
Next comes Valentine, in two scenes spliced together - an interview/striptease/solo/ fellatio combo, and a g/g with Blake Mitchell and a strap-on. Both scenes are very good, but the cutting back and forth gets kind of distracting at times.
Next, Johnni Black takes on two big black fellows on a pool table. After this one, I'll never look at a pool cue quite the same way. She does the works, including a dp and facials at the end. Very good stuff. Lovette is up next, taking on two guys in a scene that showcases her flexibility.
Finally, Paisley Hunter and the delectable Carole Dubois take on three guys in a very frenzied and enjoyable scene. The only thing that detracts from this one is that the cameraman can't seem to figure out which of the girls to film at any one time. All the scenes in this film are HOT! Lots of anal, dp, and facials. . . there's not a bad scene to be found.

There's very little not to like. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite scene. All the girls are hot, enthusiastic, and beautiful. A's all around.

John Leslie and his idea of camerawork. I hate "tripod" shots as much as the next guy, but when you have to buy dramamine before the show, that's extreme. Most of the time it isn't too bad, but coupled with quick cuts, it distracts from the action.

This one would rate a 10 if I didn't have a beef with the camerawork. With John Leslie zipping around like he's on speed, I have to drop it down to an 8. However, if you're a fan of any of these girls, trust me, they do a good enough job that you can forget the problems.
