Porn Star Carol Connors is an unsung heroine of early hardcore, a striking blonde vixen whose fiery approach to on-screen sex set the stage for the wanton, do-everything starlets of the 80's and 90's. Carol Connors was an angular young blue-eyed hard charger who would have never won a beauty contest, but who made a name for herself in the flesh biz through sheer determination and a no-holds-barred attitude.

Carol Connors first got into hardcore in its earliest days, popping up in quickie loops and low-budget grinders throughout the 70's. Although she only appeared in a handful of features during the decade, Carol Connors's lusty love of her work made her stand out from the crowd. She landed small parts in such seminal hardcore flicks as 'Deep Throat 1' and 'The Bride's Initiation,' but she's best known for her portrayal of Candy in a pair of pulse-pounding sex films, 'The Erotic Adventures Of Candy' and 'Candy Goes To Hollywood.' She was perfect as the naive and clingy young Candy, treading the line between innocence and lust like a born pornstress. It was a role she was ideal for, and she truly made it her own, although hardcore superstardom continued to elude her.

One of Carol Connors's most striking accomplishments is her turn as director/star of 1981's 'Desire For Men.' By crossing over behind the camera, Carol Connors became one of the very first performers to make that now-common career switch. It was to be one of her last features, though. Carol Connors left the scene shortly afterwards, leaving behind almost twenty always-sensual performances.
