Triple F's Rating:

Starring: Serena, Dorothy LeMay, Shirley Wood, and Valeri Darlyn star as four contestants in sex contest for a magazine. It's a lame plot, that is set up badly, and is resolved in worse fashion. Yet, all four ladies display good acting ability, really making us care for such poorly drawn characters. This is one of those golden agers where the directors really cared about line reading.

There's an abundance of location shooting and sets, along with a large cast. Extremely well shot and well lit, some of the outdoor photography is worthy of a feature film. (I love the shot of Shirley Wood doggy style ona sailboat with the sun setting in the background. )

Pretty good, but it could have been better. The women are hot and willing, but the scenes themselves are botched by the editing. The director cut away from the sex to go to a plot scene in most of the sex scenes, which reduced the heat substantially.

Valerie Darlyn, may not be the best lookig woman in the film, is certainly the hottest. She steals the movie in her three scenes. A threesome with Kandy Barbour and a lucky stud, a lesbian tryst with Shirley Wood in a treehouse, and an incredible orgy with Kandy, Bonnie Holiday and three guys. The golden age really knew how to display the sexual powers of older women (older in porn means mid-30's) with hot bodies.

There is a rape scene with Dorothy LeMay that I found a little uncomfortable to watch. She's tied up, raped, and tortured in a scene that all but eliminates couples from enjoying this film. Once upon a time these glamorized female-enjoyed rape scenes were actually commonplace in porn. Also, Serena didn't do too much for me in the film, her two scenes in a limo were the weakest and unfortunately also the last.

This film is worth checking mostly for how it reveals both the plusses, (production values, acting ability, natural women), and the minuses (talkiness, imperfect editing, and un-pc rape sequence) of classic porn. Notwithstanding, it's still quite a hot porno where Valeri Darlyn make the most of her sex scenes and helps lift the clumsy plot and shifty editing to a 7.
