Starring: Ron Jeremy, giving a genuinely good performance, stars in this attempt to set a porn film at the famous Tijuana bar where Americans could devour all the Mexican flesh they could dip their tongues into, and see a donkey show on the side.
But for a film tackling such an historic sexual landmark, this Damon Christian production is surprisingly underdeveloped and slack. There's some fine technical work, but plotting is slow and creaky.
Though it kicks into gear at key points, most of the sex is by-the-numbers stuff with Jeremy getting is monstrous beefstick serviced by his dancers. The girls are played by such reliables as Pamela Mann and Desiree Lane.
When the sex catches fire-- like in the opening screw with Desiree rushing to cum and make her stage cue-- you forget the film's feeble attempts at humor. Another highlight: Kimberly Carson's wisecracking tango with Ron.
It never fulfills the promise of its premise.
A 7 for the girls and, yes, Ron Jeremy, who does solid work.
