Starring: Appearing to acknowledge the camcorder's influence on porn, director Alex de Renzy dishes up this simple little scorcher about Peter North's adventures with his new video camera. He and pal Tom Byron hope to shoot something unexpected and win a prize one of those America's Funniest Video shows. What they get are a lot of people willing to strip, fondle, and screw for him.
Though crisp, it looks as cheap as if video taped it at home with a skilled director over your shoulder.
It's blistering because everyone seems so real. North catches Tianna and Alice Springs tumbling around on the lawn. Slowly, he convinces them to show a little, then a little more. What a tease! Soon, they're indoors fingering one another for the camera. Later, North stumbles upon-- and videos-- Randy West boning Debi Diamond. Randy is convinced it will make them stars. It's both funny and fiery.
The actors are so genuine. Tianna and Alice in particular come off as just another pair of free-wheeling, sexually aggressive babes-next-door.
There are plot-holes, so be careful when the video camera is rolling with no one behind it. Let's face it, it's rough around the edges.
But the sex is red hot, and feels so real. I give it an 8.
