Starring: Jamie Gillis is a U. S. senator with an alcoholic wife, played by the always earthy Colleen Brennan, and a daughter, perky Jill Ferrar, who has supposedly been kidnapped by Herschel Savage. So dad calls on the Angels-- Annette Haven (from the original), Ginger Lynn, and Kelly Nichols-- to crack the case.
Solid, if lightweight, storytelling mixes effectively with the wide range of sets and clean photography. The acting is top notch.
Like the best porn of the Golden Age, this sequel surpasses the first film by focusing on sensuality. The original was cold and abrasive, raw and edgy. Here, Savage and Ferrar share passionate feelings as they reveal the abduction to be a hoax. Brennan also has a lover, Eric Edwards, a relationship shown with ample heat but undeniable caring. For the raw sex, there's Jamie's jam with Haven, and Ginger, our favorite girl-next-door, doing a blistering girl/girl with Nichols. It's sweat-inducing.
The emphasis on story and the entangled relationships make this something special. And the sex is always at the boiling point.
No matter how hot the sex is, it sometimes struggles to fit into the story. There are plot-holes you'll have to step over. But that it actually has a plot is amazing in itself.
A 9 for the action, the story, and for being more entertaining than the original.
