Reality-TV has been huge for a while now. As always, the powers that be in porn have been trying to ride the RTV train for a number of years. Most of these attempts have been rather unsuccessful and rather silly, but everyone once in a while someone comes up with something cool. Shane's World has managed to combine good sex with the spontaneous feel, but that is still pretty rare. Hustler has joined the parade with “Adventure Sex,” and is described as a combination of Blind Date and Road Rules. It is basically a road trip sex flick with four people stating in Hollywood and hitting the highway for some outdoor (and often public) adventures. Jack and Katrena are the two performers who are chosen to do the fucking in this flick and it won't be easy. They have to have cameras on them during a thirty-day journey from one corner of the US to the other. That is a slightly more difficult task than your average three hours in a Valley hotel room.

Katrena and Jack meet for the first time as the trip begins. They hit it off well. How much of that is real and how much is scripted I leave to you. Their first stop is the Hollywood sign which is always an adventure. They have to be careful up there and rush to get naked. Rushing through a two-position fuck, The danger is pretty cool and they manages to get some good coverage of the action as he pulls out and shoots onto her back.

They head down to the border and try to get something done. There are too many border patrol officials to really get it on right there at the fence so they go back to the van. Starting the scene in there, they get into some good reverse cowgirl in the door and even hit the ground for some doggy. The BP stops this scene before it can be finished, but it is an interesting effort anyway.

It is hell for the gang to get out of LA, but they end up in San Francisco trying to get a shot on the Golden Gate Bridge. Since it is so busy they have to wait for a cold day to get some privacy. It takes a long time to get to the action in this chapter, but they are right there on the bridge getting it on. This is pretty damn great public sex so anyone who is into that will want to sit through the long set up for a great pay off.

At Yosemite, they find a place near the bottom of the waterfall to get it on against the rocks. I like the nature sex angle of this one and it seems less dangerous, but still entails some risk. At this point the movie falls into a rhythm and you know what to expect. There is extensive travel-log footage as they move from place to place, drinking, getting high and talking for a long time. They stop for sex here and there, but the hard-core footage is defiantly not their top priority. At least shooting it like a normal stroke film is low on the list. In Vegas they do a fairly standard fuck scene in a hotel overlooking the Strip, but many of the other locations don't make it easy.

The Grand Canyon gives us another sexy outdoor scene as they fuck right near the rim. (Insert your favorite “rimjob” pun here.) They find a way to get to 4-Square (For those who don't know, it is the spot where four states come together on one spot.) They get to fuck in four states at once during a night shoot. Following the small crew of four across country gets a little cramped and we watch as they struggle through their own issues. The Mt. Rushmore stuff is interesting and by this point in the trip, even the female producer gets into the act with Katrena.

At over three hours long, this movie only covers half of the journey and it is going to take some serious devotion to make it through this and part two. There is a great concept here, but I can't imagine what segment of the porn audience this one I shooting for. Some of the outdoor scenes are pretty cool and the sense of danger is very hot at times. It just goes on way too long and the interview footage kind of runs together. When you watch this, you can easily see how it could be a soft-core movie or even cut to make it an R-rated look at a road trip and dangerous sex. So in the end it is interesting on many levels, but it isn't great porn and it certainly isn't good stroke material.
