A few weeks ago, someone told me that Howard Stern was going to start picking a porn a month to recommend for his fans. Stern a porn critic? Oh well, I guess it's only fair. This makes for a very interesting looking scene once again as countless reflections of the fornicating trio fill the eyes. Beyond the interesting camera angles, this is a pretty standard three way with adequate sex and good looking women. Regan Star seems to be suffering from every porn fan's second favorite sinful condition, sloth. She can't even seem to summon the energy to pick up a cookie from the plate. For couples, it's obviously going to work better, and this is a movie worth looking at. However, when the interesting aspects wear off, the second half is a sexually average romp at best.

This was a very well produced film, highlights were the picture quality, plot sequence and the fact it thrives off hedonism as a whole. Only complaint is the best shots should have been longer, they tended to be the shortest (as they always do). Some scenes had rather quick mtv style takes that sometimes worked and other times left you looking at someone getting fucked through broken glass. Nuff said.

The eroticism was exellent. Most of the cast was hot and appropriate to the scenes. A couple missed the mark, the scene itself is erotic, but the girl pails in comparison to others on the movie. So >> on by and enjoy.

The movie concept, a porn based on the seven deadly sins. . . how can you fail.

The scenes based on lust and sloth are sluggish and not in the beauty that this film can be.

Yes I know that there are more stars in this film than I've listed, and I usually list in order, but I did not feel that the other stars were really worth mentioning too much. Roger T. Pipe reviewed the VHS of this movie and I am going to focus on the DVD aspects so I'm going to talk about those stars that made a difference in the DVD.

Janine and Julia Ann I have to say gave an awesome performance in the first sequence that Envy, where Janine has sex with herlself (played by Julia). No real change from the video, but I just had to say the were excellent.

Azlea gives a great performance as usual. She plays a sel proclaimed "slut" in the Anger scene and multiple angles from the DVD give us a great chance to get a good look at her incredible body.

The same is true for the scene with Veronica. In the Pride scene we have a room full of mirrors and the multiangles go from close up to looking at them full body to looking at them through the mirror.

OK here's the big difference between the video version on this film and the great big DVD version. . . not to much. The outside of the DVD had a sticker proclaming "4 hours of Vivid DVD interactive fun!" I guess the only way you get this figure is by watching the movie through 3 times from each angle. Even if you do this you will pretty much be watching the same movie, because the multiple angles are short and far in between.

Other features on this DVD are:

Award Winning Sex: Vivid wins lots of AVN Awards and so they decided to show off some of their award winning scenes. The box says that there is footage from the show, but I could not find it. I guess they mean that they used the footage of the winning movie from the show, because the scenes were all hot but very short.
The Inter Sex Game: 4 short clips 2 with angles (close up or full body). There was no game, unless you consider figuring out that the 4 clips are from 2 scenes 1 at the beginning and then one at the end a game.

Meet the Girls: The standard meet the girls of Vivid feature that I believe comes on every Vivid DVD that there is. It is nice to find out a little more about you favorite Vivid girl, but there is nothing really different about the one here than on any other Vivid DVD, except the features that the list for each girl. I think it would be better if they had a longer focus on the girls actually in the particular title than just listing them all.

Previews: 3 trailers for Vivid upcoming features, 2 of which I would gladly pass on. Not too much here at all.

Bad Girls: 4 short (about 2 minutes each) scenes from unknows movies. This is the interactive Vr that they promise on the back. You are allowed to take one or two steps forward and turn on to either side. Then you walk into a prison cell with a poster of a Vivid girl. Unfortunately the little clip that you receive does not feature the Vivid girl that is on the virtual wall. Rather you get some unknown girl(s) from an unknown movie.

So basically the advanced features of the DVD technology were lost on this one. The DVD cannot even play in a playstation

I agree with Roger on this one. The first few scenes were hot, but it drops off from there. The scene with Janine and Julia Ann really sizzled. I wish that they could have added in some multiple angles on this one though. The scene with Candy I did not think was too hot. Even the multiple angles did not make the gangbang at the end of her scene do anything for me. Azlea stole the show on this o ne. Her scene was really hot, whether you are listening to her talk about how big of a slut she is or watching her "doing her best to fuck Frank Towers right through not only the mattress, but her bedroom floor as well" as Rogers says. The gluttony scene was pretty horrible. If you love food in your sex maybe you can stomach this one, but watching an old couple viewing a bunch of girls dumping food on each other doesn't do if for me. Veronica has a very hot scene and it is really enhanced by the multiple angles. It's a real treat to watch her from the mirrors and then move in close. Regan was another disappointment that just lead into a bigger one with the final scene. Michael J. Cox gets the chance of a lifetime in a scene with some of the hottest performers in the industry. He's in a room with Dee, Veronica, Lola, Felicia, Heaven Leigh and many more. Granted some of these girls are only interested in the other girls (Felicia), but the others are more than willing to help. Michael is almost pathetic though. He spends about 3 minutes on Heaven and Lola combined and then after getting oral from almost every girl there he gives one of the weakest cumshot I've ever seen (actually I didn't even see him cum, that's how bad it was).

The scenes with Azlea and Veronica. Even though Azlea totally owned this movie as a newcomer to Vivid Veronica did a very good job. The multiple angles helped with both of their scenes especially in Veronica's.

Gee. This one is a bit too long to list. So I guess I would have to say being tricked into buying this DVD with all of the advanced features promised on the box.

Don't believe the hype. I agree with Roger that this is a pretty good movie both from a visual/artistic standpoint as well as for the sex. The sex heats up the beginning but the visual takes over in the end. However since I am rating this more as a DVD than as a movie on a whole I would have to say that I am very dissapointed. The only saving grace was that the DVD can with a mini poster of the Vivid girls (Devon, Janine, Lori, Lexus, and Jenteal. . . I think).
