Starring: Paul Thomas dives into the head of a paranoid married man, John Decker, a therapist no less, to illustrate the lengths jealousy can push someone. This Thomas concoction will do nothing t quell the argument over his skills as a filmmaker, but he draws such a vivid portrait of a man obsessed (and packs the films with so much heat), it's done nothing to shake my belief that's he's the best storyteller in porn. Yes, it's sometimes dark and dense, but the emotions are raw. Also featured in this huge cast are Julia Ann as Decker's wife, Tony Tedeschi as his hedonistic pal, Chloe, Barrett Moore, Gwen Summers, Lola, Sydney Steel, Bobby Vitale, Devin Wolf and Michael J. Cox.

Beautifully shot and well-written: two invaluable qualities missing from most modern porn.

Thomas includes a host of great set pieces detailing Decker's descent into paranoia, each as erotic as the last. They include a visit with prostitute Chloe, Decker's strage interlude with his secretary while calming her after her father's death, and he and Julia Ann as voyeurs when guests at their anniversary party engage in a blistering threesome.

Decker's never had a better role, and Julia Ann is terrific as the smoky wife who may or may not have sexual secrets to hide.

The ending will have you scatching your head.

But it's still a smoldering journey. A 9.
