Yeah, I know. I've been really rough on Max of late, but what can I say? I keep watching, hoping to find that the old Max is back and that his tapes are kick ass as they used to be. The girls are sure good looking. Maybe with this new series, the speculum will vanish and we can turn the clock back to a better time. (Rog waxing nostalgic about 'Cherry Poppers' has about as much chance to bring about change in the market as Ken Starr has landing a White House internship.) Not that I imagine Max gives a rat's ASS what I think about his movies, (And the Jim Rome contingent goes wild.) in fact, I am pretty sure he let's his numbers do the talking no matter how much critics bitch. However, as I have learned out here in Net-Land, keep plugging away, maybe someone will listen someday.

Blaire is up first, and after a somewhat disturbing cookie sale opening, Max takes this leggy girl halfway up the stairs where the debauchery can really begin. Here is where things can get good. Blaire has a hot body and seems to have a lot of fun with Max. The trouble is, he starts right in calling her a "little fuckhole" and making her blow spit bubbles. (Who finds that remotely fucking sexy?) I am going to give him some props here because she is allowed to suck rather than being totally skull fucked. However, I had to turn the sound down because hearing him say "Choke on it you little fuckhole." Over and over is about the fastest way I can think of to lose a hardon. (Flash back to the good old days when Tammi Ann did all the talking in scenes with Max, THAT was fucking hot. This..NOT.) Bending her over the pool table is a good idea, since Blaire has super fine legs and I am really starting to like this shot. Then, out of the blue, this verbal gem from the Piehole of the Max-meister. "You know what I'm doing now? I'm molesting you." OK, giving Max the benefit of the doubt here, I still have to say that kind of shit has no place in porn. Let the Jeremy fucking Strohmier's of the world beat off to Jon-Benet fantasies, I find it not only a lame fucking pedo line, but also another perfect way to blow a stroke-able scene. Back to what is good, the anal stands out as really hot, with Blaire dropping her derriere down on Max's C**K in an extensive RCA that looks totally hot. Again, turning down the sound makes this a lot hotter. Blaire loves D**K in her ass and it shows. The visual here is solid evidence of just how good Max can be. Then again, perhaps someone would like to explain to me why Max puts lipstick around her asshole before fucking it? (Beuler, Bueler?) The cookie shoved into her mouth pretty much reduces the facial to a sick freak show. So, with all the praise I had for this scene, I still have to shake my head and wonder what Max is doing fucking it up with all the shit.

Shelly Stone is next and the kicker here is that she is deaf. She has pretty good verbal skills, but it would certainly appear that Max has gone and tried something new. OK, that's cool, but why, why the FUCK does he spit, right in her fucking face? And why keep giving her the usual verbal crap? She can't hear you ordering her to choke on it, so why subject us to it? Shelly isn't all that pretty to begin with, but this only makes it worse. Hey, since we're in a questioning vein, what is with this, shove the whole fist into a girl's mouth bullshit? All the things I liked in the last scene are missing here. Instead we get a lot of footage as Max tries to put his whole arm up inside Shelly.

Deja Bleu comes by to replay the cookie scenario. This woman is super tiny and plays off Max's dialog. "The boys at school don't have C**Ks this big." She coos. What is she supposed to be in the fucking third grade? As in the first scene, if you turn down the sound and don't have to listen to the litany of misogynistic bullshit, the visual images are quite hot. Deja is pretty and quite the energetic C**Ksucker. After an all too drool infested oral only scene, Max drops a facial on her. How can we enjoy the cum when it is lost in a wave of pre-vomit forced from her gullet?

Last, but not least, Cherry comes to visit her Uncle Max. She needs to know what to do since her boyfriend wants to have sex. (By the way, this is the same Cherry who now goes by Stryc9, and who I am head over nads in lust with.) With the glasses and long pigtails, she looks a lot like Tricia Deveraux, but seems to have an even great love for C**K. Putting her upside down for the blowjob is rather fresh, I must say. (Hey Cherry, if you're reading this, you won't have to be in this uncomfortable position if you agree to an interview.) There is a lot less talk from Max here and more from Cherry, which after all, is what I keep saying we need more of. Couple that with the fact that she looks awesome from every angle, and you have the best scene Max has shot in a long time. (Hey, why is she wearing two different shoes?) I love the shots of her riding reverse in his lap. Breasts like hers are a fucking treasure. No anal for Cherry, but a near perfect facial, complete with post shot play. Cherry fucking rules no matter what name she uses.

So, in case you missed it in all the ranting I did about what was wrong with this video, I did actually find more to like here than I have in a long time. For one thing, there is not a speculum in sight. For another, there is more C**Ksucking and less holding a woman's face while she is skull fucked. These are huge steps in the right director for Max. The four women all seem to be enjoying themselves somewhat, and there are no dogs in the bunch. Cherry is just incredible, Blair is fun with a great body, Deja is a petite lovers dream and even Shelly isn't hard on the eyes. Sexually, Cherry's scene is the only one I can say was too good to miss. Blair and Deja both had moments, obscured too often by the above mentioned problems and Shelly's scene just had too much near fisting for me. So, what do I think still needs work? Well, for one thing, how about we stop degrading the women verbally? I know, some women get off on this, but listening to Max rant on and on has zero erotic interest. Additionally, we can do without the obvious little girl play. You are not Nabakov, so this isn't art, it's just pandering to the pedophiles. Having said all that, I have to remind everyone that this is not an attack on Max. I keep hearing what a great guy he is, how totally cool, how gentlemanly. In my own experience with him, I found him to be pleasant and much better at taking criticism than Ed Powers or Randy West. My question is, since Max is such a great guy, why does the audience insist on loving him more when his on camera persona becomes so thoroughly un-likeable. In all, a better effort than I have seen in a long time, but still a far cry from the good old days.
