Starring: This is the first in Vivid's new line featuring French porn dog Christoph Clark. Anita Rinaldi co-stars as a reporter tracking the real story of Christoph's legendary playboy V. H. Shane, who died after humping one of his many vixens. The focus of Rinaldi's search becomes Shane's last words: Frozen button.
Well shot on video, the film wraps its tale around some alluring sets and lush backdrops. There's definitely an attempt to make the film appear bigger that it is.
The sex, though never blistering, steams along on the power of Clark's amazing stamina. We see Shane's like in flahsback, mostly in the videos Rinaldi uses to chart Shane's conquests. He test two sisters applying for a job, shares numerous gals with his best friend, even bones Rinaldi in a dream sequence.
The girls are all succulent, and Clark has a muscular body and ready cock that will please the ladies.
The subtitles. It's hard reading dialog in a porn drama. And the climax, which finally reveals the origin of "frozen button", is an arty snooze.
An 8. It may fail as a satire of "Citizen Shane", but works as an above-average porn drama.
