Triple F's Rating:

Starring: Eric Edwards and Sonny Landham star as con men in Toledo who set up a fake brothel to ripoff a rich businessman. Jennifer Jordan plays the woman they share. They're very unlikable in this film, and scenes when they pull a con, which are supposed to be funny, just seem cruel.

This is a slight homage to the classic feature film The Sting. The period cars, clothes, furniture, and the similar music and title cards in between scenes help evoke the despression era. But, it all seems pointless, when you don't care about the characters. They should have copied the Sting more and made the con men more sympathetic.

This is where the movie really disappoints. None of the sex scenes are convincing. They're all too short and the amount of time in between each sex scene is excrutiating. You can see the made for cable nature of the sex with the non-facials, lack of penetration shots, and boring camera work. The director was certainly not interested in making a sex film.

Jennifer Jordan looks great, and she does have the best scene in the film, a dp with Eric and Sonny. Unfortunately, the dp is too obviously faked, and you only see one money shot in the scene.

A wasted cast. Not only are the performances by the leads sub-par, but this film wastes quite a large supporting cast with only a few sex scenes that are unforgivably brief.

I give it a This is a classy production, but that's all. The tepid writing, directing, and acting don't merit the money spent on this film. Not a highlight of the golden age, and barely a porn film at all.
