Starring: Nina Hartley is the focus of the film, but veteran pornstresses Sharon Kane and Porsche Lynn are featured, along with relative newcummers Melissa Hill and Missy. All are luscious, and they are teamed with some of the ablest studs in the business. Sharon shares a warm afternoon's picnic with Joe Curtis, Porsche helps Mike Horner with. . . well, an equipment porblem, and Melissa persuades Jonathan to blindfold her before making love. Nina's in the last three scenes -- some warm lesbian loving with Missy that becomes a scorching trio when Missy's husband (Mickey G. ) arrives. After a wonderful tease scene iwth all five ladies, Nina heads home for a little downhome stripping for her husband, Guy De Silva. Though there's little room to strech their acting legs in this film, the performers are solid in the sack -- or on the picnic cloth, and the kitchen table, and some other unusual places.

This is what one esteemed porn critic once referred to as "roundtable" movie: A bunch of people -- in this case, four female friends throwing a wedding shower for a fifth -- sitting 'round a table, talking about their sexual experiences, which the viewer gets to see up close and personal. There's not much to rate as far as sets are concerned, except that someone loaned the filmmaker a nice home to use. The videography is quite good.

Director Candida Royalle skillfully moves the sexual temperature of this movie from warm to boiling to soft afterglow. All the scenes are arousing, but the heat builds from scene to scene until the viewer arrives at the Nina/Missy?Mickey threesome, a beautifully nesty piece of porn. Then there's the tease, and a nice warm coupling to end the film. All in all, it works well.

The five women are gorgeous, especially the older ones, and are shown to their best advantage. The men, for the most part, are attractive as well, and women as well as men should get off on the hot sex. Again, the threeway is simply excellent.

BEWARE! In keeping with the female/couples orientation, there isn't a single "money shot" in this video. That might be a major quibble for some viewers, but it works pretty well in this case.

This is a superb couples film, and for men it's an excellent way to initiate your lady into viewing hardcore. The story is slight, but the sexual issues raised by the shower guess are relevant and not too talky, and the sex is exuberant and joyful. Rating: 8
