Starring: Frank James is miscast as a rich TV producer. He would be more believable as a lumberjack or cowboy. He is also not much of an actor. Ona Zee is his ex-wife and rival producer. Penny Morgan is his current wife, Sheena HOrne is his mistress, and Tammy Reynolds is his maid. Elle Rio, who can scarcely speak an intelligible sentence in English, is miscast as the star of his hit show. Tom Byron is a TV director. It is never made clear how the characters played by Buffy Davis and Randy West fit into the plot, but who cares? The acting is uneven, with Ona the best, but everybody does well with the sex.
With a few exceptions, this is a well-made film. The plot does what a good porn plot should; it introduces us to the characters, sets up the sex scenes, and doesn't get in the way too often. The camera work and lighting are very good. The editing does some intercutting of scenes but mercifully no looping. The background music is OK but so loud it tends to drown out the sounds of the sex. The titles and transitions between the scenes are gimmicky and irritating.
This has an unusually long running time, and is packed with a good variety of sex scenes. Some are better than others, but this is a good cast and every scene is pretty hot. There are three regular anals courtesy of Buffy, Penny, and Sheena, and Elle does a DP in two different scenes. The final scene is a fivesome with Ona and Tammy. The customary g-g is missing, and I don't mind at all.
This was the first Buffy Davis film I saw, and I was an instant fan. She had it all-a great face, a superb figure, a friendy and engaging personality, and awesome sexual heat. Also, she was game enough to be an anal specialist when this was still uncommon, In my Blond Hall of Fame, Buffy ranks right up there with Seka, Serena, and Ginger.
The title mimics the popular 80's prime time soap, but the connection is lame. They think crediting Ona Zee as "Joanna Collins" makes a connection. Yeah, right. Also, the first two scenes (Penny and Tom, Sheena and Frank) end without a c**shot for no reason.
This is not a Classic, but you get a lot of sex for your dollar, and most of it has good turn-on value. An 8.
