Before I even start, I have a confession to make. I've never seen the original "Deep Throat." I know, that's like a mainstream critic admitting he's never seen "Citizen Kane." (Or "Plan 9 From Outer Space" depending on how you view DT.) This line of videos, 'Deep Throat the Quest' revolves around a deep throat contest to commemorate the twenty fifth anniversary of the breakthrough smut epic. Hey, I'm all for searching the world over for a chick who can make dick disappear. Even if the woman in question is a total failure, think of the fun you can have testing her out. Before we start, this IS a feature, with people playing characters and actually doing dialog. There are some pretty confusing elements of the plot as I explain them, but trust me, it all makes sense in the movie.

What I really liked about the sexual action is that Ashley Renee really lights things up. JR Carrington gives a great tease performance, but then splits before finishing her scene. Some of the other women didn't do much for me, and a better looking cast would have made this an even more appealing smut flick. I liked the non sex stuff, especially the comedic elements of the movie. What I would liked to have seen is more deep throat action. After all, this is a movie about the search for the deep throat queen. Still, there is a lot to like in this first movie and I am going to put the next one into the VCR now and see what happens.

What did you think of the film's productionvalues?
The production values here are excellent. Clear video and split audio tracks with dialogue on one and music on the other. This video was shot on Betacam SP, so the many closeups are crystal clear with accurate colors. The audio was quite good as well, making the slurping and sucking sounds very enjoyable.

Because the production values are so good, it does not distract from the sex. If you love deepthroat, then this film will "fit the bill". All the performers are very sexy and the opening scenes are extremely erotic and start off hot and heavy. Even the opening montage of the first film of it's kind, "Deep Throat", set the oral stage.

Obviously the best part of this movie are the many true deep throat scenes. This film really delivers what they promise and Jilly Kelly is so hot. . . she scorches! The plot is very interesting with the challenge being a $10,000 reward for the next deep throat queen to appear in an upcoming Deep Thraot film.

Very little not to like about this movie. Highly recommended! AAA+. If I had to come up with one distraction, it would be some of the goofy character portrayals in the video.

This film is clearly a 9! The only thing that could make it a 10, would be to bring back the first deep throat goddess, Linda Lovelace. Thankfully she appears in the first minute of the film.
