Starring:
Tom Byron is the porn screenwriter, Randy Spears is the president of Pornucopia Productions, and sultry Sharon Kane is their secretary. Together, they construct goofball subplots for their next porn epic, while we see the carnal carnage played out in fantasy scenes.
This is one of Gerard Damiano's cheapies, and it shows. The director moves quickly to get his story into an office or house where the boning can begin. There's nothing elaborate anywhere.
The video's strength-- what there is of it-- is in the writing. Damiano lets Kane and Byron ham it up, toys with the storyline by having it switch whenever Byron or Spears get "an idea" in mid-plot, and, most important of all, crank up the action. Peter North gets to play with a busload of jean-wearing babes, which shrink in number by the time the action starts. He eventually gets Nina Hartley (which is never bad). Meanwhile, Byron and Spears give secretary Kane a workout while quizzing her on how to spark women's interest in their product. It's more charming than erotic.
Damiano never pretends this is anything but a throw-away wall-to-waller cut with an honest sense of humor.
It's nothing but a throw-away wall-to-waller from a director capable of so much more.
You can't deny its humor and honesty. It just isn't anything special. A 7.
