Starring: Nici Sterling is the biggest name on this one, but the supporting cast includes several lovely faces. Monique Demoan, China Lee, Frankie Lane, Snow, and a blonde for the life of me whose name I cannot remember - another newcomer - round out the tape.
The idea of the Video Virgins series started out as "first orgasm on film" but has branched out to firsts of all sorts. Basically, you're supposed to be seeing something new. Good luck.
The first scene stars Monique, and it is pretty good (if a bit long). Monique looks lovely, which is occasionally a hard thing to do when folded into all those positions. The action is good, but don't expect a big finale. . . the money shot is like something out of the 80s.
Second is the blonde I can't recall (bad with names, good with faces and other body parts I guess) and she actually looks and acts like a newcomer. She doesn't have quite the California body that most of the pros have, and she seems a bit awkward at the beginning. But she soon heats up, and turns in a very good scene.
Third is China Lee, who looks lovely if a bit aged for a "first time" series. I wouldn't place her past the late 20s, don't get me wrong. Her scene is good, some nice solo work and then the usual parade of positions. No facial here either, which is kinda dis- appointing. Ah well.
Next, Nici Sterling does her "first" DP. Yeah, sure. I always love it when a big star tries to do one of these kind of newcomers videos. It's a good scene, although the DP is fairly brief and not well-staged. But it's too mechanical to be anything close to a first time.
Fifth is Frankie Layne, an even older stripper who goes through the motions with practiced ease. She looks pretty good, but the fire just isn't there.
Finally, we get a young blonde by the name of Snow who actually seems to fit the theme of the tape. Her performance is nice, but there are a lot of rough edges and it's clear she's got a bit to learn about the business, if she were to stay in. All in all, this one's a mixed bag. Lots of lovely ladies, not a whole lot of inspired performances.
What did you think of the film's production values?
A few things to complain about. The scenes are all quite long and involved, and some of them get a little meandering. I would have liked shorter scenes and more girls. Also, the camera work gets a bit awkward in places, and some really good moments get mis-shot. Not the best I've seen.

Hit and miss. Personally, if I pick up a film that at least tries to say it's about "first-timers" or "virgins", I expect to see girls that seem to fit the bill. Out of the six on this tape, only #2 and #6 come close. Most of the girls seem way too practiced to fit into a collection like this. They're all wonderful to watch, but looking at a few of these girls you wonder if they would have a first time left for anything. The action is nice, above average mostly, but it lacks the spark that a series like Video Virgins should have.

Snow. Something about watching girls who actually seem to be shy in front of a camera appeals to me. Her performance seems honest, and I would love to see her do more films.

Seeing obvious professionals on a tape with "virgin" in the title. If I want to see a pro perform, there are plenty of flicks out there.

This is a tough call. On its own merits, this is a very nice piece of work. Monique, China, and Nici turn in wonderful, professional-quality performances and are a joy to watch. However, I rented this one expecting newcomers, or at least women *acting* like newcomers. Two of the girls meet this criteria, but in my opinion it's not really enough to carry the tape. I give it a 6 out of 10 personally, but if you can get past the borderline false advertising it might rate a 7 or 8.
