Starring: This is one of the early Vivid Videos in the Paul Thomas mold that buckles under the weight of its ambitious. Blame the under-nourished screenplay. Nikki Charm plays a message therapist whose hands are injured in an accident. Enter Dr. Joey Silvera, who replaces her hands with those of another. When Nikki finds herself overcome by strange sexual urges, she learns her new hands belonged to a sex queen.
Though directed by "Judy Blue", the Paul Thomas stamp is all over it. It's creativity plotted and makes demands of its performers. But Nikki, who plays a straight arrow facing a sexual awakening, never finds the role's center, and the story never gels.
Nikki's terrific when it's time to dig into a sex scene, as when she and Stacy Lords do their girl-girl, but she's less believable as the tormented masseuse.
Though the story is predictable, at least it has a story.
Dreams are used to include sex that doesn't fit the plot, and the final "orgy" feels tacked on. It indicates the director lost her (or his) way.
