Starring: This one gets by on the charms of its actresses, starting with succulent Amber Lynn through pouty Desiree Lane. R. Bolla stars as a P. I. hired by Amber to track down missing little sister Desiree. He takes the usual twists and turns and ends up teased with pussy or watching others indulge.
The video quality is high, though not much is demanded from this slight, familiar plot.
The performers throw themselves into their cliched roles and that gives the movie its pulse. Watch the way Desiree slinks into the world of drug dealer Paul Thomas (not his best work), and the way a hard-edged Colleen Brennan, playing a lesbian, seduces her prey.
The performances. Give credit to R. Bolla, always a pro. He makes his P. I. believably cynical and sexually hungry. The finale, when he finally meets his quarry, is steamy. But it helps that he's fallen hard for Desiree. Even Jamie Gillis is good in a strange role switch I won't reveal.
It's a tired plot we've seen too many times in porn. And does anyone really like Sasha Gabor playing off his likeness to you-know-who? The gals he humps are beauties, but he's not the most appealing actor.
