Starring: This Italian import stars Erika Bella, Shalimia, Marina Perla, Christina Garrz, Susanna Lettieri, Luisita Duarte, Alberto Sanchez, Joe Scalzone, Phillippe Soine and Robert Malone. The sexual performances are all very hot, but be warned the film has some attrocious dubbing.
What did you think of the film's production values?
Joe D'Amato, the director, kept this movie of Erika being forced into a life of Prostitution in the 1920's very high. The period costumes and other objects in the various settings really convey the point that this really is journey back in time. Only the forementioned dubbing really takes away from this movie. I suppose the importer doesn't think we can read!

The movie is quite erotic, but not knowing exactly who is who, I am somewhat limited in knowing who the performers are. I know Erika, and she gets the majority of scenes, it is afterall her story in the bordello. She delivers often, as does the rest of the cast.

There are two scenes that stand out. At the beginning of the movie when a relative of Erika's comes to the whorehouse to find that she is working there. What a disgrace to the family! So what does he do? That's right he fucks her every which way he can think of. The second is an orgy scene at the end, in which all the girls get defiled while wearing all that old-fashioned lingerie. Very hot!

The sound as a whole is very bad. The music, although not the usual kind that one finds in porn, becomes tiresome very quickly. That and the horrible dubbing are what I liked the least about "Paprika. "

This film is 7. 5, turn the sound lower and the rating will probably go up! It's a crying shame that there isn't a subtitled one of these out there somewhere. I'd buy it in a New York minute because I can read, and I'd have a 10!
