Starring: Wayne Summers is the gruff owner of a roadside restaurant that features sex as a side order. Wife Cheri Taylor is miserable living like this, and is dazzled when world-weary Sean Michaels stops by and seduces her with tales of Paris. But before she can run, escaped con Joey Silvera and his gal Nina Hartley drop by. That's right. It's John Leslie's sexed-up version of "The Petrified Forest. "

Solid as always, though this time the plot proves a little more cumbersome than in his better films "Second Skin" and the superior "Goin' Down Slow. "

It's sizzles. There's the more tender moments between Michaels and Taylor, and more raw-boned humping when Summer's hands employee Selena Steele over to Randy Spears and Eric Price.

The tension that Leslie's cranks out once Silvera arrives. And the sex that never stops.

I wish more time had been spent developing the key relationship between Taylor and Michaels. Maybe it's the actors' limitations, or Leslie just wanted to speed things along, but they never feel like a real couple. Their main sex scene, however, crackles.

An 8. Flawed, but well worth seeing.
