Starring:
Danielle is a standout as the whorehouse newcomer who, once taught to give the perfect blowjob, becomes the pride of Annette Haven's brothel. Mike Horner, as a kind-hearted sheriff, joins Jon Martin, Rhonda Jo Petty, and Dorothy Le May in adding heat to what sometimes becomes a by-the-book satire on "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. "
Pretty standard stuff for an early eighties production, with a handul of sets. But the game cast-- especially the girls-- that makes up for the production's limitations.
Surprisingly high. Following the plot of the play, Haven and her gals are generally sweet when they have to be, and willing to be the nasty if the client demands it. That it ends with Horner announcing his love for Haven says a lot about the film's charm and sensibilities.
The girls are so cute and frisky, especially naive Danielle, it's hard not to feel the sexually fires burning. And Haven, as usually, is sumptuous.
It can't escape its roots. At heart, it's still just another take-off, which means you know most of the plot-twists.
One of the better "classics" still around. Give it an 8.
