Starring: Joey Silvera plays a writer of porn screenplays. Too bad he hasn't sold one, because fiancee Amber Lynn can't marry him until he's better fixed financially. (Sound familiar?) In fact, unless he can sell a screenplay, her father (Gerald Graystone) insists that he go to work for daddy's firm, selling toilet seats! So Joey feverishly sets out to sell his script, encountering along the way Gina Carrera and Sondra Stillman (AKA Lois Ayres), as well as loutish porn producer Herschel Savage and Amber's brother (played by her real-life brother, Buck Adams). Melissa Melendez and Tamara Longley also make notable appearances. The acting is no great shakes but doesn't detract from the video, and occasionally Joey and Buck stricke a welcome note of male absurdity.
The direction, videography, and editing show a few creative touches, but overall it's a mediocre, late-'80s porno.
The women in this video are quite lovely but very subdued when having sex. Gina and Tyler Horn start things off with an office boff, one of Joey's fantasy scenes. He and Amber get it on, and later we're treated to a tender two-girl tryst between Sondra and Tamara. Herschel has a very nice time auditioning Melinda, and then Buck gets to fulfill a fantasy by bedding Sondra. The video winds up with a loving liaison between Joey and Gina. Fans of these performers won't be disappointed, especially with Melinda, Sondra, and Gina, but none of the scenes really catch fire.
The cast is attractive, the sex scenes are serviceable, and there are a couple of funny moments.
Amber has the box cover but only one sex scene, and while the other women are lovely, the overll mood is warm and romantic instead of hot and sweaty. Couples video doens't have to be this tame.
Some couples may enjoy this film, and fans of Gina, Melissa, and Sondra will enjoy them in action. Amber has made hotter films than this, however, and beyond fan preferences it's nothing special. RATING: 5.
