Starring: Nikki Knights was one of the best-looking, hottest, nastiest and, as her porn bio relates, most underappreciated screen sluts in the 1980s. This compilation was made at a time when the porn world still cared about her explosive sex work, and it's a great brief introduction. Willing and able co-stars include her one-time off-screen boyfriend Billy Dee, her most kinetic lesbian partner Shanna McCullough, other unsung girls such as Jacqueline Lorians and black beauty Alexis White, Tom Byron back in his less obnoxious days, and Robert Bullock, whose usual insipid dialogue is snuffed when Nikki ties him up and sticks her panties in his mouth before riding him 69, cowgirl style, and more.

Not too bad as a rule, depending on the source film. Most of these are VCA productions, which could be worse when it comes to the 80s. Unfortunately, Nikki didn't get many great roles; she's usually stuck with a bimbo/whore/secretary/also-fucked part with bad dialogue. Fortunately, she always made the best of it and usually stole the show, as in each of these scenes.

Continually hot because of it's fantastic namesake. Nikki's short brunette hair gives her a butch appearance and her shag cut and sometimes-blonde streaks now look very dated, but there's no doubt that her perky & natural tits, lusciously curvy ass, beautifully hairy pussy and awesomely talented mouth are as erotic as any overall package seen in porn. In this group she does it all with abandon, whether doing a three-way with black swingers Billy and Alexis, getting a big cock-full from Tom, exchanging pussy envelopement with Shanna, greasing it up for a three-way in a porn shot (back when she was credited as Jodi Dee), or riding the tied-up Bullock like a gleeful dominatrix. (The one thing she didn't do was full-fledged anal, besides a few brief, well-placed rim jobs. ) Nikki's the erotic guarantee in any old film, and this one is nonstop Nikki.

Every scene is a keeper, there's a lot of variety, and they obviously put some thought into the Best-Of title. (Another hard-to-find compilation, A Taste of Nikki, is also a varied six-part showcase, and the two films give you a decent sampling of the lady's charms. )

When it comes to Nikki's work, it's just a scoop off the top. This is probably because VCA used its own stuff and due to limited space and demand. But there are none of Nikki's great interracial lesbo/three-way scenes with Angel Kelly or Jeanne Pepper, her great analingus feats with Nina Hartley or Jeanna Fine, her DP scenes with Billy and other guys, her wonderful tit-fucking of Peter North and Joey Silvera. Like her 1980s peers such as Nina and Shanna (who've both stayed active much longer), Nikki deserves multiple compilations.
