Starring: Nicholas Steele directs this obvious porn takeoff on Scorsese's "Raging Bull," but it's little more than an excuse to set some fairly routine sex around workout benches and weights. The weak story follows boxer Dillon Day who's at the top of his game. And when you're undefeated, the women come clamoring for your cock. There's also the competition, like Dale DaBone, who believes he's the natural who can pummel Day from his pedestal. Then there's behind-the-scenes man Mark Anthony, who can make or break you, and yes, he, too, gets his share of the babes. The girls include such new faces as Monica Mayhem, Nikki Fairchild and Jacynda, Jody Moore, Kristina Black, Dominica Leoni and energetic Bridgette Kerkove, who brings his usual fire to the piece.

Picture and sound quality are rock solid. It's the script that creaks. The story struggles to incorporate the sex, which pops up in the most conventional ways. Kerkove gives Day a solid workout on gym equipment, reporter Nikki Fairchild can't resist Dabone's bone, and Jody Moore's mouth has the magical power to post-bout resuscitation.

The biggest problem? Steele is working with a conventional plot where the characters, particularly the women, are never fleshed out. That cools much of the heat.

Thankfully, the girls are hotties. So even when Moore is working on Anthony (in one lame set-up), she is firecracker to watch. And you can't beat Kerkove for aggressive fucking.

But the boxing plot and the sex scenes are an awkward fit which slows everything down.

A A disappointment.
