Comments: The other day a customer at the video store I work at rented the movie Memento. Knowing that, as great as a movie I perceive it to be, Memento is not for everyone, I tried to describe the movie to him and used the term film noir. He interrupted me and asked, "Film what?" I struggled to properly explain what the term meant, only able to clearly explain that it involved a femme fatale and lots of shadows and dark images. Now, I'm presented with the task of trying to properly describe the Sin City film Xxxtortion, which is best described as a piece of porn noir. In the same vein as great film noirs such as 1944's Double Indemnity, Xtortion involves a private investigator-like character being manipulated by a gorgeous yet mysterious woman. Assuming the role of the victim is porn thespian John Decker and his femme fatale is the recently retired Zoe. Told entirely in flashback from Decker's point of view, the story centers on Zoe, who runs a business of ill repute. She uses her bevy of gorgeous employees (Zora Banks, CeCe Monroe, Tanya Danielle, and Sydnee Steele) and sometimes herself to blackmail actors and politicians alike, setting them up and documenting it when they get caught in a sexual situation. Considering this is supposed to be the more conservative 40s, there is some serious money to be made in this. Running such a con can gain you some enemies though, so Zoe hires John to essentially be her bodyguard. It isn't long before she beds him and has him under control, using him to fuck and frame Taylor St. Claire. Decker becomes more and more resentful of Zoe's power until it finally boils over when she frames and drives a poor, innocent doctor into committing suicide. In the end, Zoe and Decker come to a climax similar to that of Barbara Stanwyck and Fred MarMurray in Double Indemnity, but for the two of you who care about the ending I won't ruin it. Now for the important part: the sex. The scorching, anal-filled opener between Zora Banks, CeCe Monroe and Eric Price is easily the best of the tape, but Taylor St. Claire's ass stretching from John Decker is quite strokable. Overall, with the exception of the tame girl/girl closer, this is a solid tape from beginning to end.
