The Philogynist's Rating:

Starring: Tina Tyler, Raylene, Celine Deavoux, Angelica Sin, Crystal Knight, Jacklyn Lick, Mila and Analyse Reese(Jessica Darling). Pretty Tina Tyler is the star and does a rather convincing acting job, sans her attempt at being plastered. (At least she didn't break out into Foster Brooks. ) The story is more prevalent in this film than most, but it works out well. Tina is in denial of her lesbian emotions and in-between each sexual encounter she is talking to her psychiatrist. The shrink is never seen or heard, wish I would have had the same good fortune. Tina's veracity is often challenged by flashbacks of what really took place in her past. Her statements are also put into question by the scenes involving her obsession with a lesbian photographer's work. It seems Tina's vivid imagination leads her to project herself into the action of a picture. At first, in these scenarios, she's just a voyeur. The other women really only have sex roles, which is great considering Tina has done enough acting for three Tennessee Williams' plays.

Like most episodes of this series, you can always see and hear that which you are watching the movie to see and hear. The directing is competent, sets appropriate, women dressed sexy or when needed appropriately for the mood of a scene and the pace mixes in story and sex with an enjoyable fluidity. Camera angles are of high quality. I almost always like the way Video Team shoots their flicks.

The first scene has Tina and Angelica drunk on a date. After they awake from passing out they have the least impressive round of sex in the film. The second scene has big-breasted Raylene and lusciously lean Crystal Knight going at it. Tina watches the two in bed through a gossamer nylon draping that surrounds all sides. The sex here is hot ending in a rather intense pussy-grinding session. Third, we have the strawberry blonde Celine and Jessica in bed, spied upon by Tina. Celine's mouth becomes perfectly round and sensuous when she coos and moans during sex. Celine's the treat here. The fourth scene is a flashback to Tina's college days were she talks dirtyt to, fingers and sucks her roommate, Jacklyn. Ms. Lick lives up to her name at the end of the sequence and Tina shakes with decided fervor. The final outing has Tina leave her voyeur role and join Raylene and nasty Mila in a torrid threesome.

The women, for the most part, are very hot. Tina acts with aplomb. The character development was well crafted and not expected. The "Twilight Zone" twist at the end was neat. And the sex was highly arousing.

Despite my earlier tossed accolades, Tina does a little too much acting. Her shrink should have told her to save some self-denial for their next session. Or to shut-up. Also Jessica Darling and Mila don't much do it for me, despite the fact they are exceptional performers. (I need the ladies to be really physically appealing as well, i. e. pretty. )

8. It was definitely in a different vein than most of the films I've seen.
