Starring: Marty Romano and Bobby Vitale star as two sexually frustrated losers who see sex everywhere but can't get laid. Then they strike upon the idea to become pimp-studs. The perfomances early are great. There both very good as two losers, the transformation to pimp-studs however is not very convincing because it happens so fast, and sinks the movie.
Shot on video but very clean (probably the new digital camera's they're using now). But, all the sex seems to be shot at the backyard, in the kithen, in the living room, in a bedroom, and on the driveway of one house, they try to fake as four or five houses. I liked the title sequence with digital clips of the film superimposed over water, very nice.
Average. None of the women are oustanding and none of the sex scenes are truly memorable. Kelsey's the sexual star with three scenes, but arguably the other four scenes without Kelsey were hotter than her scenes. In my eyes, she just seemed to be going through the motions.
The first half of the film has the best sex scenes in the film, and it has the best plot. The idea of following two losers becoming sexually frustrated while watching other people have sex is extremely well done and heightens the early sex scenes. It adds a clever yet bitter irony for us watchers of porn. Very interesting to also see them capture the independent spirit of films like Swingers, Slackers, and Clerks in some of the early dialogue scenes.
The cleverness and the voyeuristic sex element of the first half is comletely scapped and disposed of in the second half. the "I know a whore, let's become pimps" plot is so lame and out of character, the film can't help but sink to cliche. When they sleep with the hookers and try out a new hooker, you dont feel excited, you feel betrayed by the first half which set these two dudes up as losers.
What is suppose to be a showcase for Kelsey really is just an unremarkable porn effort. Despite an intruiging first half, I can only give it a 5.
