We all know that it was just a matter of time before things really started to change in porn. The rise of goth web sites has been evident to anyone who has been surfing for very long. The goth scene and look have slowly made their way into mainstream porn, but a new crop of directors seem intent on bringing it into their work. Eon McKai is one of those young directors and this is his vision. It stars a few girls we already know and some who are new to the porn scene. That should add to the authenticity factor as most of these young women fit the dark nature of this flick.

Kurt Lockwood and Veronica Jett open the movie in a dimly lit stairwell. The action matches the gritty picture quality and the throbbing industrial music. It's rough, it's dispassionate and it looks like the kind of side-show antics Kurt employs in his gonzo scenes are at play here. (Choking, slapping, biting, the usual.) The look is very unique and the lighting is interesting. I just don't think it adds to the sexuality of the action. She is a rather cute girl, really skinny, but nice looking. There just isn't much heat here. I certainly appreciate that effort that went into putting this scene together and I applaud the originality, but if this is what we can expect from the whole flick then I'd say we are in for a long, stroke-free two hours. Kurt sticks his cock in her ass and Veronica responds nicely, but this is a case of style overshadowing substance in a big way.

Katrina Kraven fits the look for this movie. She tries to offer comfort to her friend after he gets the crap kicked of him. (Perhaps this is just an excuse to put as much make upon a guy as we see on the girls in this flick.) I've never been that high on Katrina so watching her deep throat his modest member isn't exactly putting any spark into the mix. On the other hand the music is less annoying and the look of the scene is more conducive to strokeable porn. Katrina does have a nice body and her tats aren't going to scare away the core audience for this flick. He works out some aggression by smacking her face with his cock and then goes down on her for a while. He puts both hands around her neck as he fucks her, adding to the ho-hum factor of an already pedestrian scene. As she usual does, Katrina does a fine job with the anal, working her ass up and down until she is ready to taste it. We get a few A2M shots and a big facial. This is a solid scene that will be hot for those who are sexually attracted to Katrina. Otherwise it is just a scene that is nicely shot and one that I wish had been swapped with the first one, just to see how hot that girl could have been without the style getting in the way.

Kurt is back with Gia Jordan (Who is the one girl in the cast I really think is hot.) and Mya (Who is pretty sexy as well.) Though one might be tempted to stop and count the tats in this little circle of flesh, it would be a shame to miss Mya swallowing cock. There is some good editing at the start of this scene, but only if you subscribe to the idea that impressive editing makes for good porn. I appreciate the way this is shot (Broken record much) It gets in the way of what seems to be some pretty great sex. Mya matches Gia with her oral skills and that is saying an awful lot. When they finally settle in long enough for us to really enjoy the action, Kurt is pumping away on Gia's ass Mya likes to be on top during anal and that lets us see those big tits in all their glory. The anal action makes this a very solid scene until things take a turn down a pointless ally with the pop. Kurt shoots his load on a mirror so that Gia can play with it, swap it snort it and then lick the mirror clean. Not only is this un-sexy, it's not even all that original or fresh. (It does make me want to ask Gia about it in an interview though.)

Brooklyn and Trent hook up in a scene that has the grainy look and the background music that might just drive you insane. (It's good music, but really geared to a narrow audience.) She is a pretty girl with a dark look and a lot of tats. After giving a good looking blowjob, she leans back to turn it over to Trent. He gets her box all nice and wet before slipping his cock in there. It looks like we've got some hot sex going on here, but the white-washed look of the scene drains a lot of the heat. It isn't bad, but I've seen this style before I didn't care much for it the first time around.

Zoe and Benny close things out and they have a unique look. That's the strength of this scene I guess. The music sounds like something out of a Tim Burton wet dream/acid trip. Sexually this one is pretty strong because these two seems to be genuinely into each other. It's a pretty standard fuck and suck with Zoe working her tongue expertly over his pierced head and rubbing his dick against her nipples for fun. They cover her body for much of the action, but when she is finally naked there isn't any reason for the cover up. Zoe looks really good and takes a nice load on her stomach.

I don't know what to think of this movie. There isn't much to it really. It's like an industrial/punk version of the Wicked MTV style movies. What it does offer is a cast of women who look the part. This doesn't come off like a bunch of Valley strumpets in goth gear. (I remember that being the one thing I found annoying about New Wave Hookers way back in the day.) I admire the way the movie was shot, but have never found this kind of stuff to be conducive to good stroke material which is what porn is supposed to be about in the end. Perhaps I was hoping for an edgy feature that incorporated McKai's vision and obvious skill into a movie that showcased that side while keeping the sex solid. So this is a nicely shot, tightly edited flick with some women who are genuine and not the same old porn chicks. On those levels it succeeds, but there just isn't enough sexual heat to live up to my expectations.
