In his attempt to expand his empire, Michael Ninn has been branching out. We've already seen him take his high-end technical skills into the raw and raunchy world. Now he's venturing into the ethnic market with more of a street vibe. I don't know if basing a movie around the rap stylings of Wesley Pipes is a great idea. Not that Wes is a bad rapper at all. He does all the music for this project and is certainly better as a rapper than most of the hip hop stars are as pornographers. The problem we have here is that Ninn is fashioning his project after these atrocious attempts to blend hip-hop with porn. We can only hope that it won't end up being as bad as this bastard hybrids. If it isn't any better than the others, then it will be an incredible waste of a very talented, totally sexy cast. That would be criminal.

After nearly four minutes of Wesley Pipes rapping over the credits we get even more of the same as Eva Angelina does some teasing. The music gets annoying, but it is the ultra-rapid editing that really kills any heat. I'm sure that tweakers and over-caffeinated ADD sufferers find the pace perfect, but for the rest of us, this is just a pointless mess. It stops for about two minutes as she jams a couple of bling-encrusted fingers into her snatch and then returns when the actual scene begins. Mr. Marcus sits in a chair looking cool in shades as the music finally fades and Eva puts her mouth on his cock. It took us 16 minutes to get here, but the blowjob is pretty good. There is some really great action here. Like the other Ninn projects of late, Ghetto Fabulous consists of three long scene strung together by music/tease sequences. Unlike some of the other movies though, these long in-between segments are painfully lacking in anything that is remotely erotic or strokeable. Instead of white-hot solo action we get hyper-edited rap videos. Again, these aren't horrible songs, but they are what they are. Anyone who doesn't like rap or hip-hop to begin with is going to hate them. Even if you like the genre, you're listening to sub-par music so I don't know who is going to like it. The editing makes it impossible to enjoy the girls and unless you really want to see poor attempts at making music videos for songs that you probably would never listen to, then what's the point. That is the bad though. What is good is the sex involved. All three scenes have great heat. While the Neo_Pono movies focused on harder than usual sex, this one just keeps things flowing. Mika Tan is awesome as always. She overcomes Wes' tendency to get in the way of the action and turns in another spectacular stroke scene. Lyla and Jenna make a great cum-swapping tag team in the finale. Eva looks really good in her scene and she proves that she is as hot a performer as we have in the business. I think if we strip away the wanna-be MTV crap then we have a great movie. We can all be thankful for chapter skip on our DVD remote because the good stuff is very good. Stick with the sex and lose the rest. The world has enough bad rap videos and not enough high quality stroke flicks.
