You have to hand it to the folks at Private. Even though they have been on top of the porn world for years, they keep surprising me with just how smart they are. When DVD technology hit the adult world, Private again took the lead, giving us some of the very best adult titles on the market. Their picture and sound quality is unparalleled and in a business that is sadly under-using the vast possibilities of DVD extras, Private's bonus sections leave most main stream titles in the dust. Technical superiority aside, the point of this rather glowing open is to compliment the brain trust at Private for knowing exactly what we want to see. In this movie, they bring us up close and personal with one of the hottest women to ever, well, to do anything, Tania Russof. Tania is one of Private's greatest finds and letting a whole disc revolve around her beauty and sexual energy is an idea so perfect, I only wonder why it took so long to for someone to think of it.

Tania introduces herself in her hometown. It looks to be about ten degrees below zero, but her smile is enough to thaw just about anything. With a voice over, she tells us about her first meeting with Pierre Woodman. That takes us to a 1994 Casting with the shy young woman. Tania is less than pleased to see the kind of work Woodman has in mind for her. (Are any of the women in the Casting movies, not upset by the magazines?) I'd like to know what everyone is saying, but if you sit through the dialog, we move foreword to her third meeting with Woodman. By now, Tania has become intrigued and is ready to give us all a treat. As he always does, Pierre moves in and breaks in the new babe himself. The camera angles aren't always the best in these scenes, and Tania certainly isn't the polished sexual performer we know and love just yet, but still, the seeds are there. Her thin, all natural body is quite receptive to his probing cock.

Tania's career begins to take off, but by her own admission, nerves played into her next shoot and things didn't go as well as she had hoped. Well, the fact that she has two guys filling her in both holes might have something to do with it as well. Thankfully, she wouldn't let early troubles stop her.

(Note to anyone reading, The Pyramid was just re-released on DVD and everyone should pick it up. It IS that good.) Look, I realize this review is getting long, so I'll cut it here. The movie goes on for another hour. We get Tania's highlights from the Tatiana films, but mostly we follow her meteoric rise to fame. If you are at all interested in the life of a porn star, then this semi-documentary footage will be very interesting to you. Some of the scenes seem to have been cut short and there are a number that are simply photo shots shot on video. Still, when we do see Tania in action, she is so white hot it's more than worth the wait. For anyone knew to Tania's work, this will give you just enough of to get you hooked. I also found the behind the scenes footage quite interesting, but for those of you who are just looking to see Tania fucked silly, the Pyramid trilogy was just re-released on DVD.
