Starring: Tice Bune and Melissa Hill star as a couple whose dream life is crumbling. The problem? Her professional life is skyrocketing while he's stuck scripting bad porn. This solid story-based sex-drama also features Stephanie Swift as the "friend" who comes between them.

Everything is top notch, from the actng to the sets. But it's the film's reliance on character and story that stokes the flames.

Blistering. Even the conversations between Melissa and Swift crackle. While the gals sit in a bar chatting, we learn that Melissa and Tice are a sexually adventurous couple (which we witness), but only to rescue a fading relationship. Soon, Swift is the "other woman" and Melissa is prowling for Steve Drake.

The emotions are so real they give the sex scenes unexpected power. Melissa's seduction of Drake-- a lap dance-- sizzles because it's so restrained. Yet, there's nothing restrained about Swift's gang-bang with James Bonn and Marc Wallace, or Tice's climactic boning of Stephanie.

There's not much to dislike unless you hate chatty character-driven porn.

A 9 for Stephanie's raw-boned performance and the film's depth.
