The Philogynist's Rating:

Starring: Taren Steele, Juli Ashton, Misty Rain, Monique DeMoan, Laura Palmer, Vicca, Sindee Coxx, Lauren Montgomery, Jeanna Fine, Anna Malle and Kim Kitaine. Almost all of the women are beauties and the sex is very engrossing. There are five segments, each one set up by snippets of the women solo, showcasing what they will look like and adding some self-stimulation to boot. There's no dialogue in the scenes but occasional moans of pleasure are heard.

Classy. Michael Ninn's directing was a treat. It was set up to truly showcase these women in their erotic beauty. Lighting and cinematography were excellent. The different locales were well chosen and the music properly conveyed the moods. The music also never overshadowed the eye candy wonders. The slow-moion usage helped to build the erotic intensity. Production values deserve a 10.

The first scene, entitled "The Lesson", has Misty and Monique exploring each other while dominant Juli plays with novice Taren who is being initiated into a web of lesbian lust. Taren comes dressed for the occasion in the always popular Catholic schoolgirl uniform, complete with white cotton panties and bobby socks. Once Taren enters the fray she's soon reveling in a flood of lustful pleasures. This is the one scene where dialogue would have benefitted the action. Still makes one hot to trot, though, as Juli ends up making it a foursome. "The Alley" has Vicca in a complete leather outfit, with long black boots. Laura goes the furcoat-wearing prostitute look. They get it on in the alley and Laura's long, curved tongue works wonders. Vicca's incredible to gawk at. In "Pink Electric" a beautifully decked(and stacked) Sindee Coxx gets it on with Taren, who is recording Sindee seductively undressing for some erotic shoot. The scintillating Taren shagging a known lady-killer adds to the ever-rising heat of this scene. There's a lot of kissing and munching. "The Confession" is the weakest offering by far. Lauren is being interrogated by Jeanna and Anna and the scene nicely switches from black/white to color. Still, the sex was tepid in terms of result, not effort. And the ladies have all looked and done better. "Cool White" is a wonderful addition as Juli and the late, great Kim Kitaine are in bed together. The all white bedspread, pillows, bras, panties and socks, along with the white glow accopanying the performers gives it the 'making love on a cloud' feel to the proceedings. The sex starts out tender, with the undressing of one another, kissing and nibbling of breasts. It later increases in intensity with sucking, grinding and dildo play. This movie is a lesbian-lover's delight, i. e. , I'm delighted.

Just about everything I've already commented on. Taren Steele deserves full marks for being so enchanting her breathtaking image is forever engraved into memory. I think Frankie Valli's "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" should be permanently dedicated to Taren. She's just too good to be true.

The interrogation with Jeanna didn't work. That the women have looked better is one criticism here and aestetics are essential in porn, for it's mostly a visual experience. (The two people out there who did not realize this- tsk tsk tsk. You are now properly admonished. ) Also the solo bits could have been shortened.

I rate it a 9. Replace the interrogation scene with one of the better scenes from the other Diva movies, and it's a 10+.
