Since this is one of my all time favorite porn videos of all time, I figured it should be my first Seymore DVD. The problem is apparent from the word go. While the movie is still filled with some of the best gonzo footage ever, the transfer is pretty horrid. Instead of a full re-master, all that has been done here is a straight CD-ROM transfer. While this may look fine on a computer screen, blown up to 35 inches, it makes everything beyond grainy. That said, on to the movie.

After a lot of waiting Seymore is finally going to meet his dream girl Shane. The long, drawn out introduction of this new porn queen took forever, and with the payoff finally in sight, Seymore's bad sense of timing might cost us a look at this Goddess. Wow with plot devices like that, who needs any sex at all. Yeah right and we watch "Friends" for the witty dialog and not to see Jennifer Aniston's nipples.

Upon picking Shane up at the airport, Seymore learns quickly that he is in for a wild ride. (Gotta love that naked beneath the trenchcoat shot in front of LAX.) A few minutes later, the lovely Shane has convinced a reluctant Seymore to pack a bag and head south of the border with her. Who could say no? Once she gets Seymore down to Puerto Vallarta, Shane shows her adventurous side, choosing to take a parasailing trip over the ocean. OK, so watching Seymore and Shane parasailing is short on sex appeal, but it adds to the feel of the tape. Very real and spontaneous, like some home movies that you wouldn't mind watching you know?

With the thrill seeking over, S and S return home where Shane shows what she is really good at, giving head. Standing on the balcony outside his hotel room, Seymore gets to experience first hand what he has been dreaming of for so long. Shane's on screen oral debut is nothing short of brilliant. Here is where some people will disagree with me. The flirting, teasing and dancing sequences are very long, but for me, that is a plus.

The dance number between the two ladies is pure heat, and worth watching this video for in and of itself. Having seen the heights that Seymore and Shane have reached since, my overall opinion of this video may have slipped a bit, but still, it is head and shoulders above the standard in adult entertainment and is more than worth watching. It is worth revisiting, if only to see the magic that is achieved by only the very best in the business. Seymore Butts in Paradise is the best, to this point, in a great series, I recommend it wholeheartedly.

While I still stand behind the review of the movie, the transfer is so terrible it takes a lot of the joy about it. If you really want a Seymore movie on disc, this is the best material available. I can't wait for them to do a real transfer so we can have the quality to match the killer action. While I can't recommend the DVD to everyone, I can say I am rushing off right now to watch the video again.

Starring: Devon Shire, Nina and Shane - Wow is all I can tell you. This video is just the hottest one in my collection (about 400 titles).

Well lighted, great close ups and it's difficult not to like Seymore's amateur/professional style. The only improvement that I would like to see is in the editing where no effort seems to have been made to adjust the gamma or the colorization. With his hand held camera the gamma goes all over the dial and the color goes from fully saturated to next to none. Hey, this isn't a big dollar production you say and you're right.

Like I said earlier, this is too hot for words. Let me see if I can do Mr. Butts production justice. The very best scene goes like this (want to leave you something to look forward to). About 60 mins into the tape you encounter Devon Shire. This is fairly early in her career and thank goodness she never saw the need to augement her naturally stupendous chest. I digress. Back to the story. Devon and space cadet Ron show up at Seymore's apt.
