"During the class reunion they plan a ski trip. Their plan is to stay at Mizuho's mother's lodge in the hot spring resort area. Unfortunately however, in the midst of their stay, Mizuho's mother is taken ill. Instead of having fun with her friends Mizuho takes on the chores that are usually done by her mother. Although Mizuho insisted that her friends go and have fun skiing, Tatsuya comes to lend a helping hand. This act of kindness gives Mizuho hope, that perhaps, Tatsuya loves her too.

"That night, Mizuho's grandfather tells her to stay with them so that she can be close to her mother, instead of going back to her university Mizuho tells Tatsuya in confidence about the decision she must make and asks what he thinks she should do. To her disappointment, he tells her to make her own decision. Upon returning home, Tatsuya is hit by a car. Worried Mizuho runs to meet him at the hospital. When she learns that he survived unscathed she asks him to spend a day with her. That night, they make love and Tatsuya promises to come back again and take her with him.

"Episode 2 - All the Ex-Members of the Tennis club at Sakura Juiun High gather together at the class reunion party on New Year's Eve. They're in their twenties now. Ayu and Tatsuya, childhood friends, are teased by their friends as usual because the two can't help arguing over everything.

"On New Year's Day, Ayu invites all her friends to her family tradition of the pounding of the rice cake where Mamoru, another childhood friend of hers shows up. They haven't seen each other in ages.

"To Ayu's surprise, Mamoru reveals his love to her. Ayu does not know how to respond. Ayu is secretly in love with Tatsuya, although they always rub each other the wrong way. Meanwhile, Mamoru asks Tatsuya to help him win Ayu and Tatsuya agrees. In an effort to help Mamoru, Tatsuya ends up getting in a big fight with Ayu. After Ayu falls down the stairs while arguing with Tatsuya she wakes to find Tatsuya sitting besides him all worried. He apologizes about being pushy about Mamoru.
