Starring: Kay Parker was the Real Deal. Anyone who has seen the original first three Taboo films knows that no other performer possessed the maturity, acting ability, charisma, and sensuality to pull off Kay's incestuous mother role so convincingly. This compilation omits those films but gathers some 16 hard-to-find Kay clips from such sexvids as Nasty Nurses, Young Like It Hot, and I Want to Be Bad, showcasing her ability to play the older temptress, the wronged but lustful wife, the voluptuous vamp. . . . It also serves as a tribute to Kay's trim torso, delectibly natural big tits, and lusciously bushy pussy.

Not bad. These scenes were all shot on film during porn's Golden Age in the late 70s and early 80s, just before the video craze took off, and they have the era's hallmarks: sexy setup dialog, attempts at realistic sets and lighting, passionate but sometimes fleeting sex shots, more emphasis on heat than raunch. You can see the film-projector squiggles on some of the clips. Many scenes feel dated, some of the lines are goofy, but they reflect an almost quaint desire to create real films.

Every Kay Parker sex scene is inherently hot. Though not as demonstratively nasty as peers such as Juliet Anderson or Vanessa Del Rio, and not as coolly gorgeous as Seka or Ginger Lynn, Kay always has a deep and pulsating lust that often seems at odds with her classy demeanor and outward prudishness. While a couple of clips here fail to fully use Kay's sultriness (she gets but doesn't give cunnilingus, and in one scene they leave her clothes on while she humps!), the disk shows off her many talents, from giving head to tit-f**king to riding reverse cowgirl.

The dialog and plot setups are only included when they add to the heat. Otherwise, this material is all right to the point: Kay getting nasty. The extras (bio, bloopers, interview) reveal this star to be as humorous and intelligent as she is sexy.

This collection omits Kay's most famous and erotic work, in the Taboo series and in her lesbian tryst with Seka in Careful He May Be Watching. It's not definitive, but it is worthwhile from start to end.

9. In the voice interview at the end of the disk, Kay says she's reluctant to join the video market because its lower budgets and quick shoots would compromise quality. She's one of the few sex-flick stars who could say that with a straight face. She retired soon after, in 1987, leaving a gap no other porner has truly filled.
